BANKNOTE MANAGEMENT METHOD AND BANKNOTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A banknote management system includes a first banknote processing apparatus including a first serial number reading apparatus configured to read a serial number of a banknote, and a first disinfection apparatus configured to disinfect the banknote; a recording apparatus; and processing circuitry configured to receive the serial number of the banknote read by the first serial number reading apparatus and first disinfection information, and record the serial number and the first disinfection information in association with each other in the recording apparatus, the first disinfection information being information relating to a state of disinfection of the banknote disinfected by the first disinfection apparatus.
TRANSACTION PROCESSING SYSTEM AND TRANSACTION PROCESSING METHOD
A transaction processing system, for performing a transaction in a branch of a financial institution, includes a reception apparatus configured to receive a content of the transaction; a transaction management apparatus configured to manage the content and a handling status of the transaction received by the reception apparatus; a determination circuit configured to, in a case that an operation related to the received transaction is performed, refer to the handling status and determine an appropriateness of the operation; and a handling unit configured to perform handling corresponding to the operation determined to be appropriate by the determination unit, and update the handling status.
Intelligent cash handling
Aspects of the disclosure relate to cash handling devices that provide intelligent monitoring and management of cash cycles. A cash handling device having at least one processor, a communication interface, and memory may receive, from a mobile device, a request to process a pre-staged transaction. Subsequently, the cash handling device may generate and present a graphical identifier based on the mobile device requesting access to the cash handling device. Next, the cash handling device may verify that the mobile device is authorized to perform the pre-staged transaction based on the graphical identifier being scanned by the mobile device and cause a connection to be established between the cash handling device and the mobile device. Thereafter, the cash handling device may identify and process the pre-staged transaction associated with the mobile device. Then, the cash handling device may generate a notification indicating completed processing of the identified pre-staged transaction.

Modular automated transaction machine
A modular ATM is disclosed herein and can include a safe with a first port, at least one currency cassette and dispenser both positioned in the safe, a recycler, and a plurality of linking transport assemblies. The dispenser can move banknotes between the cassette and the first port. The recycler can be positioned on the safe, have second and third ports, and move banknotes between the second and third ports. The recycler can be positionable in a plurality of different orientations and offsets relative to the safe. The plurality of linking transport assemblies can each be individually engageable with the recycler. Each of the linking transport assembly moves banknotes between the first port of the safe and the second port of the recycler. Each linking transport assembly is individually positionable between the safe and the recycler.
