LIQUID FLOW VELOCITY CONTROL METHOD AND BEVERAGE MAKER USING THE SAME
A beverage maker has pulse-width modulation (PWM) signals and preset flow velocity values stored therein and supplies a liquid through a flow velocity control method, which includes setting a target flow velocity value; setting one of the preset flow velocity values matching the target flow velocity value as a matched flow velocity value and setting one of the PWM signals corresponding to the matched flow velocity value as an executing PWM signal; supplying the liquid according to the executing PWM signal and sensing an actual liquid flow velocity; performing an algorithm on the executing PWM signal and a sensed liquid temperature and dispensing time to generate an adjusted PWM signal when a difference exists between the actual and the target flow velocity value; and finally, changing the liquid flow velocity according to the adjusted PWM signal, so that the beverage maker supplies the liquid at the target flow velocity stably.

An automatic tea brewing device, including a tea brewing container, an electrically controlled valve provided on the tea brewing container, a water boiling assembly, a water inlet pipe, a water injection control device provided on the water inlet pipe, and an electric control assembly; the water boiling assembly includes a heating cavity and a first electric heating element; a water inlet of the heating cavity is connected to the water inlet pipe, and a water outlet of the heating cavity is in fluid communication with the tea brewing container; the electric control assembly includes a temperature measurement device, and a controller; the temperature measurement device, the water injection control device, the first electric heating element and the electrically controlled valve are all electrically connected to the controller.
COUNTERTOP HOT AND COLD POST-MIX BEVERAGE DISPENSER
A beverage dispense system for a countertop having a water inlet including a solenoid valve and a beverage concentrate inlet to which a bag-in-box containing a supply of liquid coffee concentrate is attached. A beverage dispense font is mounted on the countertop. A water conduit connects the water inlet with the dispense font. A separate liquid beverage concentrate conduit connects the beverage concentrate inlet with the beverage dispense font. An electric syrup pump pumps liquid coffee concentrate from the bag-in-box to the end of the dispense font. A control unit controls the separate delivery of water from the mains water inlet and/or liquid coffee concentrate to the end of the beverage dispense font. Where water and liquid coffee concentrate are delivered, they will mix in the beverage receptacle.
SANITIZATION UNIT, BEVERAGE PREPARATION MACHINE COMPRISING SUCH A SANITIZATION UNIT AND BEVERAGE PREPARATION METHOD IMPLEMENTING SUCH A BEVERAGE PREPARATION MACHINE
The present invention relates to a sanitization unit (1) for sanitizing a liquid delivered to prepare a beverage. The sanitization unit (1) comprises an irradiation chamber (2) to receive liquid. The irradiation chamber (2) comprises: i) a liquid inlet (10) for introducing the liquid into the 5 irradiation chamber (2) and ii) a liquid outlet (12) for discharging the introduced liquid out of the irradiation chamber (2). An irradiation device (4) is configured to sanitize the liquid in the irradiation chamber (2). The liquid outlet (12) comprises a flow restrictor (12.1) to restrict a liquid flow when the pressure difference across the flow restrictor (12.1) is below a predetermined threshold, and to allow for a liquid flow with a higher flow rate when this pressure difference is equal to or greater than the predetermined threshold.
