Methods of Inductive Communication in a Cellular Telephone
Various switchable devices including inductive antennas are disclosed. These switchable devices may include one or more RFID tags and one or more switches. Some of these one or more switches are optionally wireless and/or manual. In various embodiments, the switchable devices include are included within cellular phones, security devices, identity devices, financial devices, remote controls, and the like. The switchable devices are optionally configured to perform financial transactions.
Interactive core for electronic cards
Antenna and power control electrical circuits are configured for use with an initialization antenna for activating and personalizing an electronic core for electronic cards. When the antenna receives an RF signal, it turns on the power and redirects additional signals to a CPU. If the signal is validated, personalization information can be downloaded or self-diagnostic QC software can be activated; if a signal is not validated, the control circuits are reset. Once initialization is completed, the antenna control circuit is deactivated, and the power control circuit electrically connects the batter to the CPU.
DYNAMICALLY DISPLAYING CONTEXTUAL INFORMATION ON A SMART CARD
The present disclosure describes a smart card that determines a context associated with the smart card and displays information based on the determined context. The smart card may determine a location of the smart card. Based on the determined location, the smart card may retrieve a list of establishments. The list of establishments may be used to determine a context, for example, based on information related to the establishments, historical information, user information, etc. Once the context is determined, the smart card may select information to display on the smart card. By limiting the information displayed on the smart card, the smart card may limit what can be captured by bad actors, thereby improving the security of the smart cards.
Systems and methods for overmolding a card to prevent chip fraud
Systems and methods for overmolding a card are provided. A chip fraud prevention system include a device including a chip and a substrate. The chip may be at least partially encompassed in a chip pocket, and the substrate may be at least partially encompassed by the overmold.
USING THE NFC FIELD FROM A PHONE TO POWER CARD TO PHONE BLUETOOTH COMMUNICATIONS
A contactless card with power harvesting unit is described. The power harvesting unit is configured to harvest power from near field communication radio wave fields and supply power to a memory, processor, and communication circuit of the contactless card. In some embodiments, the contactless card may also include a capacitor for smoothing out power deliver or a rechargeable battery. The contactless card is configured to establish two-way communication with a secondary device and to store and execute applets. In some embodiments, the contactless card is a payment card which contains information associated with a primary profile and a secondary profile. The secondary profile may be activated using two-way communication if the primary profile is deactivated due to fraudulent activity.

Various switchable RFID devices are disclosed. These switchable RFID devices may include one or more RFID tags and one or more switches. Some of these one or more switches are optionally wireless. In various embodiments, the switchable RFID devices include cellular phones, security devices, identity devices, financial devices, remote controls, and the like. SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERFORMING PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS
A wearable payment device, such as a finger ring worn by a user, communicates payment data to a payment reader that uses the payment data in order to request a payment transaction. Such wearable payment device may be conveniently carried by and accessible to the user such that utilization of the payment device for the payment transaction is less burdensome for the user, thereby encouraging use of the payment device for payments. MODULAR TRANSACTION CARD
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a device, system, methods and components related to a modular card. Example components of the modular card include a thin rectangular rear plate, a thin rectangular front plate overlying the rear plate, a first plurality of fasteners fixed to the thin rectangular front plate, a second plurality of fasteners fixed to the thin rectangular rear plate, the second plurality of fasteners being configured to be removably engaged with the first plurality of fasteners; a magnetic strip, and/or an integrated circuit. In operation a user may remove and/or replace various components to customize the modular card. Some customizations include altering the accounts to which the modular card relates. In some example, the modular card may include components which relate to different accounts.
Method For Estimating A Quantity Of A Blood Component In A Fluid Receiver And Corresponding Error
A method and system for communicating estimated blood loss parameters of a patient to a user, the method comprising: receiving data representative of an image, of a fluid receiver; automatically detecting a region within the image associated with a volume of fluid received at the fluid receiver, the volume of fluid including a blood component; calculating an estimated amount of the blood component present in the volume of fluid based upon a color parameter represented in the region, and determining a bias error associated with the estimated amount of the blood component; updating an analysis of an aggregate amount of the blood component and an aggregate bias error associated with blood loss of the patient, based upon the estimated amount of the blood component and the bias error; and providing information from the analysis of the aggregate amount of the blood component and the aggregate bias error, to the user.
