MULTI-FACED PAYMENT CARD WITH PARTITIONED DUAL SMART CHIPS AND ANTENNAE
The disclosed embodiments provide a payment card. The payment card may have a first face and a second face opposite the first. Additionally, the payment card may comprise a first smart chip, the first smart chip having contacts that are electronically accessible from the first face of the card. The payment card may further comprise a first antenna coupled to the first smart chip, the first antenna providing near-field contactless access to the first smart chip and a second smart chip, the second smart chip having contacts that are electronically accessible from the second face of thecard. Additionally, the payment card may comprise a second antenna coupled to the second smart chip, the second antenna providing near-field contactless access to the second smart chip and an RF block that electronically isolates the first antenna and the second antenna from each other.
Augmented reality numberless transaction card
A method implemented on an augmented reality (AR) electronic device includes receiving a request to activate a transaction card account on a transaction card. The transaction card account is activated on the transaction card. A virtual representation of account information corresponding to the transaction card account is displayed on the AR electronic device. The exterior of the transaction card is free of account identifying information.
PAYMENT CARD STORING TOKENIZED INFORMATION
Provided are a payment card, system and method for storing and reading tokenized payment account information from a payment card. In an exemplary embodiment, a payment card may include a substrate forming a body of the payment card, and an electronic chip attached to or included in the substrate. According to various exemplary embodiments, the electronic chip may include a storage storing tokenized payment account information corresponding to a payment account linked to the payment card. The electronic chip may be read by a payment terminal and may provide the tokenized payment information to the payment terminal during reading.
Smart card NFC secure money transfer
A secure method of real time money transferring between account holders utilizes Near Field Communication (NFC) technologies, dynamic transaction cards, and a mobile application to facilitate a seamless mobile transfer of funds. The dynamic transaction card of the customer requesting to make the transfer of funds may be placed in contact with the second recipient dynamic transaction card of the customer receiving the funds transfer to establish an NFC connection. The dynamic transaction card requesting the transfer may receive, via the NFC antenna on the card, the recipient customer account information stored on a passive NFC tag. The dynamic transaction card requesting the transfer may transmit the recipient account information to a mobile application, which may transmit the recipient account information to an account provider system for facilitating the funds transfer.
System, method and apparatus for value exchange utilizing value-storing applications
A system, method and apparatus for exchanging value using a smart card in a financial transaction is disclosed. The system includes a smart card having a contact interface and a contactless interface interactive with a closed purse application and an open purse application controlled by a microprocessor. The closed purse application contains application-specific value, while the open purse contains general value. The application-specific value and general value are each compatible within the system of the invention to perform and settle the financial transaction. The financial transaction may include the smart card communicating with a load terminal or a transaction terminal to add or change the amount of value on the smart card. Further, the present invention include auto-load functionality for adding an amount of value to the smart card. Finally, applications such as a transportation application and a loyalty application are described.
COMPUTER-BASED SYSTEMS HAVING COMPUTING DEVICES CONFIGURED TO INTERACT WITH DYNAMIC CARDS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
At least some embodiments are directed to a dynamic card. The dynamic card transmits a first temporary card identification number to a computing device. The dynamic card is without an internal power source and is powered up by an external power source housed within the computing device. The dynamic card determines an absence of unused encrypted card identification numbers and receives a set of encrypted card identification numbers from a server. The dynamic card decrypts a second temporary card identification number from the encrypted card identification numbers and shows the second temporary card identification number on a display, replacing the first temporary card identification number. The second temporary card identification number remains shown on the display after the power from the external power source is discontinued. The second temporary card identification number can be used in a subsequent interaction with another computing device.
Information processing apparatus
An information processing apparatus is provided. The information processing apparatus includes an electronic money unit including a processor, a memory configured to store a balance of electronic monetary value, a terminal communication unit configured to receive a first command from an electronic money terminal using a terminal antenna, a mobile communication unit including a phone antenna for mobile communication via a base station; an interface unit configured to receive a second command from an electronic money server through an encrypted connection over the mobile communication; wherein the processor is configured to change the balance of electronic monetary value in response to at least one of the first command and the second command.
Digital identity management device
An identity management device and system. The device comprises a processor operably coupled to a memory, a display, and a communication interface. The device can have stored thereupon instructions that, when executed by processor, cause the processor to implement a user device interface configured to receive, from user device through the communication interface and store in the memory, at least one identification record comprising visually depictable identification data and a user interface configured to update the display to depict the visually depictable identification data. The identification record can comprise authentication data. Authentication data can be displayed on the device or securely transmitted.
DISABLING A DIGITAL PAYMENT DEVICE (DPD)
A Digital Transaction Processing Unit (DTPU) operable to host one or more transaction applications, each transaction application for digitally transacting with a Digital Transaction Device (DTD), the DTPU further operable to be reversibly placed into a disabled state such that the DTPU is inoperable for a digital transaction with a DTD.
APPLICATION SELECTION ON A DIGITAL TRANSACTION PROCESSING UNIT (DTPU)
An apparatus for a Digital Payment Device (DPD) operable for a digital transaction with a Digital Transaction Device (DTD), the apparatus being operable to provide transaction application identifier information for communication from the DPD to the DTD in a digital transaction, the apparatus including: an application selection module; on the DPD, a Digital Transaction Processing Unit (DTPU) operable to host one or more Personalized Digital Transaction Packages (PDTPs), each PDTP associated with at least one transaction application having a transaction application identifier; the DPD being operable to select at least one hosted PDTP to be operable for a digital transaction with the DTD; wherein the apparatus is operable to receive one or more commands to cause the application selection module to be set with a transaction application identifier for each transaction application associated with the selected at least one PDTP, such that the application selection module is operable to include, in the transaction application identifier information, the transaction application identifier for each transaction application associated with the selected at least one PDTP.
