STORAGE AND DISPENSING STATION FOR A BLISTER MACHINE
Storage and dispensing stations for a blister machine for separable small piece goods include a storage container having a housing and a separating device having a coupling device with a lower coupling portion and having a holding device with an actuation member. The storage container is releasably arranged on a dispensing station having a rotary drive having a hub seated on a shaft and having an opening member for interaction with the actuation member. The lower coupling portion, the hub, the actuation member, and the opening member are set relative to one another so that when arranging the storage container on the dispensing station prior to an effective interaction between the actuation members and the opening member, an effective interaction occurs between the lower coupling portion and the hub, and the hub is rotatable in the de-energized state. Methods of operating storage and dispensing stations are also provided.
Pill storage and dispensing systems and methods
A pill-dispensing system includes a base including a first processor and a storage, a container for pills carried by the base, and a dispenser mechanism. A data store includes an authorization code and instructions. A second processor is coupled to the data store, is in communication with the first processor, and is programmed to receive from the first processor a code associated with the container, compare the code to the authorization code, and retrieve and serve the instructions to the first processor upon the code matching the authorization code. The first processor is programmed, upon receiving the instructions from the second processor, to download to the storage the instructions that when executed by the first processor cause the first processor to effectuate a dispensing of pills from the container by the dispenser mechanism.
VERIFICATION SYSTEM FOR A PHARMACY PACKAGING SYSTEM
A method and verification system for verifying pharmaceuticals packaged within a pouch using a pharmacy packaging system. The method includes activating a first light source to illuminate the pharmaceutical pouch, capturing a first image of the pharmaceutical pouch while illuminated by the first light source, activating a second light source to illuminate the pharmaceutical pouch, and capturing a second image of the pharmaceutical pouch while illuminated by the second light source. The method further includes generating a third image based on the first image and the second image, generating a dashboard to simultaneously display first images, second images, and third images from a plurality of pharmaceutical pouches, providing a number of pills indication of a number of pills detected in the pouch against a number of pills expected in the pouch, and displaying the dashboard.
Single Cigarrette Vending Machine
A cigarette vending machine that dispenses a single cigarette at a time. The cigarette vending machine includes a touchscreen that allows a user to select a particular brand of cigarettes. In addition, the vending machine includes a camera and an identification reader so that the user's age can be verified, and so that the user can be verified to be the same person as the identification holder.
Medicine feeder and medicine feeding unit
A medicine feeder configured to feed solid medicines with an elongated shape, the medicine feeder including: a medicine container having a medicine outlet; a medicine delivering part having a plurality of medicine receiving spaces that are arranged at intervals and contain the medicines one by one; and a medicine entry preventing part that is provided in the medicine container and is configured to prevent the medicines from entering one of the plurality of medicine receiving spaces that coincides with the medicine outlet by covering over the medicine receiving space. A bulkhead portion partitioning between each two of the medicine receiving spaces has a shape such that an upper surface of a portion close to a rear side in the rotational direction of the medicine delivering part rises toward a direction opposite to the rotational direction of the medicine delivering part.

CONTROL APPARATUS
A control apparatus is provided. The control apparatus includes: a packaged medicine preparation unit discharging a bundle of packaged medicines in which a large amount of medicines are prepared by one capsule in a single dose to perform a post-process on the bundle of packaged medicines for a specific purpose based on a medicine dispensing request; and a post-processing unit introduced with the bundle of packaged medicines discharged from the packaged medicine preparation unit to perform the post-process thereon.
Storage container for automated dispensing of individual medicament portions
Described herein are methods and systems for automated dispensing of individual medicament portions. The systems can include a housing that encloses a receiving space having a bottom surface. A separation device may be provided and arranged on the bottom surface with at least one channel to receive at least one medicament portion. At least one channel may have an opening facing the receiving space and an opening facing the bottom surface. The opening facing the bottom surface may be associated with a contact area on the bottom surface, over which contact area the medicament portions may be guided upon a movement of separation device. At least one recess may be arranged in the bottom surface outside of the contact area to receive contamination particles present in the container.
CASSETTE FOR DRUG PACKAGING
Disclosed is a drug packaging cassette including: a storage unit configured to store a plurality of units of a drug; a drive unit rotating the storage unit and moving the storage unit up and down so that at least one unit of the units of a drug is discharged out of the storage unit; a supply unit supplying the unit of a drug discharged out of the storage unit to a drug packaging member; and an adjustment unit controlling the number of the units of a drug supplied through the supply unit. With this structure, it is possible to improve drug supply efficiency, thereby contributing to mass packaging of drugs.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR DISPENSING SOLID ARTICLES
A dispensing apparatus for dispensing articles includes a dispensing outlet, laterally opposed, elongate first and second guide walls defining a singulating channel therebetween, a dispensing path extending through the singulating channel to the dispensing outlet, and a drive system. The drive system includes a belt and a belt actuator operable to drive the belt. The dispensing apparatus is configured to convey articles on the belt in a dispensing direction along the dispensing path toward the dispensing outlet to be dispensed. The singulating channel is configured to singulate the articles as the articles are conveyed along the dispensing path and through the singulating channel toward the dispensing outlet to be dispensed. The first guide wall extends laterally across the singulating channel at an oblique angle to vertical to overhang at least a portion of the singulating channel and engage articles conveyed along the singulating channel.
