A packaging unit for packaging pharmaceuticals into a pouch includes packaging equipment operable to form the pouch, a track configured to direct the pharmaceuticals toward the packaging equipment, and a receptacle coupled to the track upstream of the packaging equipment to receive the pharmaceuticals from the track. The receptacle includes a plunger. The pouch is formed around the plunger.

STORAGE CONTAINER FOR A STORAGE AND DELIVERY STATION FOR DRUGS
A storage container for a storage and delivery station for drugs is provided. The storage container includes a retainer for preventing a multiple drug portions from being delivered simultaneously. The storage container includes a housing that surrounds a receiving chamber and has a circular cylindrical section and a base surface, and a separating device disposed rotatably in the circular cylindrical section and having multiple projections and channels. Each projection has a surface, the uppermost points of the surface defining an upper receiver boundary plane. The storage container also includes a retainer with a fastening section and a retaining section, the retaining section preventing entry of the drug portions into a channel aligned with a delivery opening, and at least one cam for removing drug portions from the retaining section, the cam being movable above the upper receiver boundary plane over the retaining section.
Vending machine container labeling and dispensing method
A vending machine, in communication with a remote station, delivers a labeled container to a user from storage holding containers of different sizes and shapes and containing different products such as medicaments. A control system is operable to select a specific unlabeled container from among the other containers in storage, and to move the selected unlabeled container to a labeling module where a label is applied after the position of the label and/or the selected unlabeled container are/is adjusted so as to result in the label being applied at a desired position and angular orientation with respect to the selected unlabeled container. The control system is further operable to move the labeled container to a delivery zone accessible to the user.

The first router is connected to the vending machine, thereby connecting the vending machine to the internet. The portable device is connected to the internet. Medication filling assembly
In an embodiment, a medication dispensing assembly includes a housing containing a plurality of electronically activated guidance devices which are configured to guide medications from at least one medication dispenser into a plurality of containers. The housing includes a panel which closes off at least a portion of one side of the housing. The panel has a plurality of wire openings that are spaced apart from one another. A plurality of wires extend through a portion of an interior of the housing and extend through the wire openings of the panel from the interior of the housing to outside of the housing. The wires are electronically connected with electronically activated guidance devices. At least one of the wire openings includes a slot which extends to an edge of the panel.

Provided is a tablet guiding path adjusting apparatus that adjusts a tablet guiding path adjusting mechanism in the tablet cassette, comprising a rotor rotatably equipped within a cassette body and having a tablet guiding path for receiving at least one of tablets received within the cassette body and guiding to a discharging orifice of the cassette body; a partition member for entering the tablet guiding path and being located between a tablet at the lowest part and a tablet at the upper side thereof; and tablet guiding paths adjusting mechanisms configured to adjust at least either dimension of the depth and width of the tablet guiding path to the rotor; wherein the tablet guiding path adjusting apparatus engages with engaging parts of the tablet guiding path adjusting mechanisms to operate the tablet guiding path adjusting mechanism, and adjusts a dimension of the tablet guiding path in accordance with the shape or size of tablets received within the cassette body.

Pill storage and dispensing systems and methods
A pill-dispensing system includes a base including a first processor and a storage, a container for pills carried by the base, and a dispenser mechanism. A data store includes an authorization code and instructions. A second processor is coupled to the data store, is in communication with the first processor, and is programmed to receive from the first processor a code associated with the container, compare the code to the authorization code, and retrieve and serve the instructions to the first processor upon the code matching the authorization code. The first processor is programmed, upon receiving the instructions from the second processor, to download to the storage the instructions that when executed by the first processor cause the first processor to effectuate a dispensing of pills from the container by the dispenser mechanism.
