The method activates the heating unit where water is pumped through the machine. The heating unit is activated and deactivated at specific steps are performed.
Beverage-Making Machine
A beverage-making machine includes: a housing; a fluid reservoir mounted to the housing; a pump fluidly connected with the water reservoir; a heating unit; and a brew station having an outlet; wherein the fluid reservoir, the pump, the heating unit and the brew station define a fluid path. The beverage-making machine further comprises a controller configured to: (a) detect performance of a pre-brewing action, and in response initiate preheating of the heating unit; then (b) detect performance of a brew activation action, and in response activate the pump to convey fluid from the fluid reservoir along the fluid path to the outlet of the brew station to prepare a brewed beverage.
BREWING MACHINE
A brewing machine includes a liquid source, a dispensing outlet, and a motion device for moving the dispensing outlet according to at least one brewing pattern. The motion device includes a first transmission mechanism and a second transmission mechanism, the first transmission mechanism moves the second transmission mechanism to allow the second transmission mechanism to have a first motion trajectory, the second transmission mechanism moves the dispensing outlet to allow the dispensing outlet to have a second motion trajectory, and the first motion trajectory and the second motion trajectory have a substantially same shape.
Device for making a beverage
A beverage maker comprises a heating unit for heating a liquid, a functional unit for accommodating a quantity of a beverage basic material, the functional unit being positioned at an outlet side of the heating unit, and a valve unit including a membrane being positioned at an interface of an inlet of the functional unit and an outlet of the heating unit, and a biasing member for biasing the membrane towards a position for realizing the closed position of the valve unit. The inlet of the functional unit is configured and arranged to be open towards a central portion of the membrane, and the outlet of the heating unit is configured and arranged to be open towards a ring-shaped portion of the membrane encompassing the central portion.
Automatic Tea Brewing Device
An automatic tea brewing device, including a tea brewing container, an electrically controlled valve provided on the tea brewing container, a water boiling assembly, a water inlet pipe, a water injection control device provided on the water inlet pipe, and an electric control assembly; the water boiling assembly includes a heating cavity and a first electric heating element; a water inlet of the heating cavity is connected to the water inlet pipe, and a water outlet of the heating cavity is in fluid communication with the tea brewing container; the electric control assembly includes a temperature measurement device, and a controller; the temperature measurement device, the water injection control device, the first electric heating element and the electrically controlled valve are all electrically connected to the controller.
COUNTERTOP HOT AND COLD POST-MIX BEVERAGE DISPENSER
A beverage dispense system for a countertop having a water inlet including a solenoid valve and a beverage concentrate inlet to which a bag-in-box containing a supply of liquid coffee concentrate is attached. A beverage dispense font is mounted on the countertop. A water conduit connects the water inlet with the dispense font. A separate liquid beverage concentrate conduit connects the beverage concentrate inlet with the beverage dispense font. An electric syrup pump pumps liquid coffee concentrate from the bag-in-box to the end of the dispense font. A control unit controls the separate delivery of water from the mains water inlet and/or liquid coffee concentrate to the end of the beverage dispense font. Where water and liquid coffee concentrate are delivered, they will mix in the beverage receptacle.
BIFURCATED BEVERAGE PREPARATION SYSTEM
Disclosed herein is a bifurcated beverage preparation system for use with beverage capsules having frustoconical side walls, first and second sealed ends for containing a predetermined volume of a flavoring agent, a beverage preparation head including a housing having a liquid inlet and a beverage delivery spout, a retractable holder for positioning a beverage capsule along a liquid flow path extending between the liquid inlet and the beverage delivery spout, a hydraulically operated plunger for engaging and puncturing the beverage capsule when positioned along the liquid flow path, thereby exposing the flavoring agent contained therein, and a hydraulic operating unit mounted remotely from the housing and the faucet spout, operative to supply a liquid at a predetermined temperature and under a predetermined pressure to the liquid, thereby causing a flow of the liquid along the flow path through the beverage capsule, thereby delivering an outflow of a flavored beverage.
Apparatus and method for cold brewing beverages
An apparatus and a method for cold brewing beverages are provided. The apparatus comprises a container and at least one insert arranged in the container. The insert may either be a filter for holding brewing material or a receptacle for holding cooling material. A liquid like water filled in the container is pumped through a conduit into the insert and is then returned to the container, from where it may be pumped again to the insert. Thus a cycle for brewing and cooling a beverage is provided, depending on whether the insert is a filter for holding brewing material or a receptacle for holding cooling material, thereby considerably reducing the time required to produce a cold-brewed beverage.
PRESSURE PROFILING DEVICE, PARTICULARLY FOR DISPENSING UNITS OF PRESSURIZED LIQUIDS
The present invention relates to a pressure profiling device (1), particularly for dispensing units of pressurized liquids, comprising a pump (3) adapted to generate a flow of a pressurized liquid in outlet, said pump (3) being configured to be connected, by means of at least one delivery duct (5, 5′), to at least one dispensing unit (7, 7′) of said liquid, a three-way hydraulic fitting (9, 9′) being applied to said at least one delivery duct (5, 5′), configured to divert a first part of said liquid leaving said pump (3) into a bypass duct (11, 11′), a remaining second part of said liquid continuing on said at least one delivery duct (5, 5′), a proportional valve (13, 13′) being applied to said bypass duct (11, 11′), which can be operated to vary the flow rate of said first part of said liquid diverted in said bypass duct (11, 11′) as a function of the degree of opening of said proportional valve (13, 13′) so as to vary the pressure of the remaining second part of said liquid,
According to the invention, a restriction (15, 15′) is applied to said at least one delivery duct (5, 5′) between said pump (3) and said three-way hydraulic fitting (9, 9′), configured to impose a reduction in the flow rate of said liquid leaving said pump (3).
