Provided is a device for transmitting wireless power. The wireless power transmitting device includes a communication unit, a power receiving unit, and a processor. The processor is configured to obtain, through the communication unit, communication establishment information and location information associated with a wireless charging area from a tag device, establish, through the communication unit, communication with a wireless power transmitting device based on the communication establishment information, and control to transmit the location information to the wireless power transmitting device. The power receiving unit wirelessly receives the power from the wireless power transmitting device after the communication unit transmits the location information.

A first receiver is configured to acquire, from the electronic devices, pieces of battery information representing remaining capacities of the secondary batteries, respectively. The second receiver is configured to obtain, from the electronic devices, pieces of position information representing positions of the electronic devices in the charging target group, respectively. The determining processor is configured to determine respective priorities of the electronic devices according to the pieces of battery information and the pieces of position information based on a judgment condition. The charge controller is configured to control charging of each of the electronic devices so that the electronic devices are charged according to the respective priorities.

A network of collection, charging and distribution machines collect, charge and distribute portable electrical energy storage devices (e.g., batteries, supercapacitors or ultracapacitors). To avoid theft and tampering of the portable electrical energy storage devices, by default, each portable electrical energy storage device is locked in and operably connected to the vehicle to which it provides power unless the vehicle comes within the vicinity of a collection, charging and distribution machine or other authorized external device such as that in a service center. Once within the vicinity of a collection, charging and distribution machine or other authorized external device a locking mechanism in the vehicle or within the portable electrical energy storage device unlocks and allows the portable electrical energy storage device to be exchanged or serviced.

As demand at individual collection, charging and distribution machines increases or decreases relative to other collection, charging and distribution machines, a distribution management system initiates redistribution of portable electrical energy storage devices from one collection, charging and distribution machine to another collection, charging and distribution machine in an expeditious manner. Also, redeemable incentives are offered to users to return or exchange their portable electrical energy storage devices at selected collection, charging and distribution machines within the network to effect the redistribution.
