Vehicle starting control system, vehicle-mounted device, vehicle, server, vehicle starting method, vehicle starting program and storage medium
A vehicle starting control system includes a server for managing a starting state of a vehicle and a vehicle-mounted device for controlling the starting state of the vehicle based on a control command for controlling the starting state of the vehicle provided from the server. The server is accessibly connected to a financial system and can monitor a status of payment of a predetermined charge for the vehicle via the financial system. When the payment of the predetermined charge for the vehicle is detected, the server can control the starting state of the vehicle by providing the vehicle-mounted device with the control command for controlling the starting state of the vehicle via at least one of a communication means, a mobile terminal, and an IC card.
Delivery system having robot vehicles with temperature and humidity control compartments
An autonomous robot vehicle in accordance with aspects of the present disclosure includes a conveyance system and a compartment coupled to the conveyance system. The conveyance system autonomously drives the autonomous robotic vehicle between one or more storage locations and one or more delivery locations. The compartment receives one or more items stored at the one more storage locations. The compartment includes a temperature control module configured to maintain the compartment within a predetermined temperature range to provide temperature control for the one or more items as the conveyance system drives between the one or more storage locations and the one or more delivery locations.
VEHICLE IDENTITY ACCESS MANAGEMENT
A vehicle includes a controller, programmed to responsive to identifying a first user via a mobile device, load a first non-person entity associated with the first user from the mobile device to configure vehicle settings, the first non-person entity including a driver setting, a first entertainment setting and a second entertainment setting; and responsive to identifying a second user entering the vehicle, switch from the first entertainment setting to a second entertainment setting.
Bicycle Locking Assembly
A bicycle locking assembly includes a bicycle rack is secured to a support surface and a plurality of parking elements each is integrated into the bicycle rack to have a respective bicycle parked in the parking elements. A plurality of bicycle locks is each movably integrated into the bicycle rack for locking a respective bicycle to a respective parking element. A card reader is coupled to the bicycle rack for processing a payment to facilitate a user to lock their bicycle to the bicycle rack. A camera is integrated into the bicycle rack to record footage of the bicycle rack thereby monitoring bicycles that are locked to the bicycle rack. A light emitter is coupled to the bicycle rack to emit light outwardly from the bicycle rack for enhancing visibility of the bicycle rack at night.
Facilitating direct rendezvous for a network service
A computing system can receive, over the one or more networks, a request for a service from a client device of a user. In response to receiving the request, the system can generate a unique identifier for the request to facilitate a rendezvous between the user and a service provider, and transmit the unique identifier to the client device of the user. Based on the user and the service provider making the rendezvous, the system receives data corresponding to the unique identifier from a provider application executing on a client device of the service provider. Based on receiving the data corresponding to the unique identifier from the client device of the service provider, the system updates a status for the user to indicate that the service has been provided by the service provider for the user.
VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING AUTHENTICATION AND NOTIFICATION
A vehicle identification system and method incorporating image recognition for retrieval, authentication, and/or notification. The vehicle identification system having a computing structure comprising at least one processor, a tangible computer-readable memory, and a transceiver for communicating over a network. A camera system communicating with the computing structure. The camera system having at least one camera observing at least one vehicle within a camera range of an establishment. The camera system capturing at least one image of the at least one vehicle. The tangible computer-readable memory comprises instructions to configure the at least one processor to: receive image data from the camera system; and detect an identifiable feature of the vehicle within the image data.
METHOD FOR MANAGING CURBSIDE USE BY VEHICLES
A method for managing curbside use by connected and/or autonomous vehicles that includes executing instructions of one or more computing devices having a processor that integrates at least a navigation component, an asset verification component, and a curbside management component, that generate recommended curbside access destinations for a vehicle associated with the customer and one of which is selected as the final curbside destination for the vehicle.
COMBINING USER DEVICE IDENTITY WITH VEHICLE INFORMATION FOR TRAFFIC ZONE DETECTION
The described technology is generally directed towards combining user identity information, corresponding to user profile data, with vehicle information, such as for use by a traffic zone management system that charges a fee for vehicle usage in a traffic zone. A user device, such as a mobile communications device, can be coupled to vehicle information such as via a transponder that is detected by roadside units, or by uploading the combined information to a wireless communications system. Based on the combination of information, different billing rates or the like can be applied to different users and vehicle types. The technology can work with various communication systems, including roadside units and wireless communication networks.
Concept for provision of a key signal or an immobilizer signal for a vehicle
A method for a device for a vehicle is disclosed, wherein the device comprises a key chip. The method comprises obtaining information relating to the release of a key signal or of an immobilizer signal from a central computer via a wireless mobile communication system. The method further comprises providing a control signal to the key chip based on the information relating to the release of the key signal or of the immobilizer signal, wherein the control signal is designed to allow the key chip to generate the key signal or the immobilizer signal. The method further comprises providing the key signal and/or the immobilizer signal, by the key chip, via a wireless communication link to a central locking system and/or an immobilizer system of the vehicle after the control signal is obtained.
Locked Asset Rental System
The invention is a system allowing for the commercial rental of physical assets that are locked and secured at specific locations, including, without limitation, bicycles, motorcycles, automobiles, tools, machines, computers, smart phones, or tablet computers.
