The system includes an electronic controller operably configured to initiate a time counter associated with an inducement of the flow of the solvent to generate a running infusion time and a first and second portions separated by a triggering condition, and to generate, in the second portion and dynamically, a remaining infusion time and a remaining dispensed infused solution mass, The electronic controller is also operable to execute the infusion algorithm in the second portion of the running infusion time to generate the solvent flow rate change sufficient to provide the remaining dispensed infused solution mass in the remaining infusion time based on the running infusion time, the desired dispensed infused solution mass, and the total infusion time.

A machine for the preparation of beverages, comprising a hydraulic circuit that includes: —a brewing unit; —a water tank; —a pump having its inlet connected in fluid communication to the water tank and its outlet or delivery connected in fluid communication to the brewing unit; —a heating device for heating water forced by the pump towards the brewing unit; —a self-priming device (22), which comprises a hollow housing structure (27, 28), having an inlet (22a) in fluid communication with the outlet or delivery of the pump, and an outlet for spillage of water towards a collecting space, in particular the water tank. The self-priming device (22) comprises a spillage member (30), which is set between the inlet (22a) and the outlet (22b). The spillage member (30) has a body that is made of a material that is permeable to water and to air and that is such as to be traversed by water and air when the pump is active.

The first dispensing element (51) and the at least one coupling element (18, 26) of the disposable container (11) are configured for mutual coupling, and the hydraulic circuit (40) can be controlled for conveying pressurized hot water and/or steam to the first dispensing element (51), for the corresponding injection into the internal volume (16) of the disposable container (11) through the injector element (20).
