An apparatus for brewing and dispensing beverages such as coffee, said apparatus comprising a water tank comprising a water inlet configured for fresh water supply, and one or more heater elements, said apparatus comprising a water tank outlet, which is connected via a hot water channel to a water faucet a brewing chamber and a dispensing nozzle, wherein said hot water channel has at least one section forming a flow path for hot water, said at least one section of said hot water channel is configured such that it is in direct thermal contact with the periphery of said water tank along the entire length of said at least one section of said hot water channel, and such that said at least one section of said hot water channel extends substantially parallel to the periphery of said water tank.

A brewing device, the device comprising; a reservoir for containing a supply of liquid, and a channel providing a flow channel from the reservoir to a rinse head situated in an infusion chamber, wherein the rinse head is mounted to be rotatable, defining an axis of rotation, the rinse head comprising at least one arcuate rinse channel, arranged to project rinse water with momentum in a direction that provides a moment about the axis of rotation; and a brewing device, the device comprising; a reservoir for containing a supply of liquid, and a channel providing a flow channel from the reservoir to a rinse head situated in an infusion chamber and comprising a plurality of rinse channels, wherein the rinse head is mounted to be rotatable by the action of a bushing bearing.

Disclosed is a capsule for use in a brewing device, the capsule comprising: a body part, which defines a cavity containing infusible beverage material; and a lid which is attached to the body part and which closes the cavity, wherein the lid comprises lines of weakness which define an opening region having an opening force of from 9.0 to 50 N.

System for preparing beverage consumptions comprising a beverage preparation device, and at least one exchangeable supply pack. The beverage preparation device comprises a mixing chamber having a beverage outlet, liquid supply means including a liquid flow path for supplying a liquid to the mixing chamber; air supply means for supplying air to the liquid flow path, and a drive shaft. The at least one exchangeable supply pack includes a container for holding a beverage related ingredient, and a doser arranged for supplying the beverage related ingredient in a dosed manner. The exchangeable pack and the device are mechanically connectable. When connected the doser is in fluid communication with the mixing chamber and the drive shaft is arranged for transmitting torque to the doser, such that when activated, beverage related ingredient is supplied from the outlet of the doser into the mixing chamber.

A device (1) for preparing a beverage on the basis of interaction between a beverage extract and an extracting fluid, particularly a beverage having a crema layer, comprises a brewing chamber (10) for accommodating a quantity of the beverage extract, having an inlet (11) for receiving the extracting fluid and an outlet (12) for discharging the beverage. Furthermore, the device (1) comprises restricting means (60) which are movable between an activated position for realizing a restriction (61) in the outlet (12) of the brewing chamber (10) and an inactivated position for minimizing the restriction (61) in the outlet (12) of the brewing chamber (10), and also actuator means (70) for controlling the position of the restricting means (60) in relation to an actual state of pumping means (30) as present in the device (1) for realizing a flow of the extracting fluid.

An open extract beverage dispenser and method for using the same. A storage device produces and stores liquid with nanobubbles, an extraction device is installed with an extraction part where a solid to be extracted is placed and a liquid storage part that accommodates the extraction part, and the storage device and extraction device are connected by a connection and circulation device. The extraction part and the liquid storage device are connected by a first conveyor in the connection and circulation device, which channels the liquid with nanobubbles to the extraction pant for mixing with the solid to be extracted; the extraction part and the liquid storage part are connected by a second conveyor in the connection and circulation device, which re-channels the liquid in the liquid storage part to the extraction part for re-mixing with the solid to be extracted.

A beverage maker includes a body and a cover movably attached to the body. The body includes therein (among other components), a hot liquid generator (HLG) having a tank, an inlet for receiving liquid into the tank and an outlet, at least one heater in thermal communication with the liquid in the HLG tank, and a discharge port in fluid communication with the outlet of the HLG for discharge of the liquid. The cover is movably attached to the body between a closed position and an open position. At least one valve permits the discharge of the liquid via the discharge port in a closed position of the cover. The at least one valve is mechanically actuated by the cover in the open position of the cover to substantially prevent the discharge of the liquid via the discharge port.

A filter container includes a main part and a filter piece, the main part includes a surrounding portion, an opening, and a coupling portion, the opening and the coupling portion are respectively located at two opposite sides of the surrounding portion, the filter piece is arranged at the coupling portion.

A beverage-making apparatus includes a water supply heater configured to heat water; an ingredient supplier connected to the water supply heater through a water supply channel, the ingredient supplier having an ingredient accommodation part formed therein; an air injector connected to the water supply channel; and a container connected to the ingredient supplier through a first channel.

A brewing device may have several different configurations to make various beverages. Under computer control, the device may be able to sequence various ingredients using direct or recirculating percolation for immediate consumption, such as coffee and tea, or for fermenting for later consumption, such as beer, kombutcha, or other consumable products. The device may be capable of a sequenced percolation, such as coffee infusion of a first type of coffee, then a second type of coffee, followed by vanilla, and followed by spices. The device may be capable of sequential, cascading, or parallel percolation directly or using recirculating paths. Ingredients may be pre-packaged or may be placed into various removable and cleanable containers. The device may further be capable of infusion by steeping ingredients in a dispensing device.
