System and Method for Dispensing a Food Product
A food management system includes a cabinet having a chamber, a lift, and an ejector. The chamber is defined, in part, by a front wall including a chute defining a first end of a dispensing region along the cabinet. At least one lift is disposed within the chamber, and is configured to receive a plurality of containers therein. The lift is operable to sequentially present at least one of the containers to the dispensing region of the cabinet. The ejector includes a bumper disposed within the dispensing region. The bumper is operable to translate through the dispensing region from a retracted position on an opposite side of the at least one lift from the chute, to an extended position between the retracted position and the chute to bias the at least one of the containers from the at least one lift through the chute.
AUTONOMOUS FOOD STATION
A novel food station comprises a plurality of cubbies sized to enclose food portion containers, and an externally accessible collection hatch. An internal transport system uses an end effector to temporarily couple to a portion container carrier of a selected cubby, and to controllably move the food portion container carrier within the food station from the selected cubby to the collection hatch. The food station includes heating and cooling systems that selectively provide or remove heat to or from each of the plurality of cubbies independently of the other cubbies, with a heating or cooling rate, or for a heating or cooling duration, that is independently scheduled and controllable for each of the plurality of cubbies.
APPARATUS, METHODS, AND SYSTEM FOR VENDING AN ASSEMBLED FOOD ITEM FROM A VENDING APPARATUS
A method of vending an assembled food item. Receiving a request for an assembled food item. Conveying a first food item to a heating element for heating the first food item. Conveying a second food item to a second heating element for heating the second food item. Heating the first food item and second to a predetermined temperature or for an amount of time. After heating the first food item, dispensing the first food item into a first side of a foldable box that is open and dispensing the second food item into a second side of the foldable box. Folding the first side of the foldable box to be positioned substantially above the second side of the foldable box such that the foldable box is in a substantially closed position and such that the first food item is positioned substantially on top of the second food item.
VENDING MACHINE AND OPENING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A vending machine system adapted to open and prepare a contained food item. The system includes a cabinet, a rack frame supported relative to the cabinet, a shelf coupled to the rack frame and configured to support a contained food item, a lid removal apparatus supported relative to the rack frame, and a food item actuator supported relative to the rack frame. The cabinet includes a refrigerated compartment housing the rack frame and a partition separating and selectively allowing access between the refrigerated compartment and a preparation compartment. The lid removal apparatus is configured to selectively retain a lid of the contained food item. The food item actuator is configured to move a container of the contained food item to the preparation compartment of the cabinet while the lid of the contained food item is retained by the lid removal apparatus subsequent to translation of the container.
Vending machine and transport cartridge systems and methods
A vending machine system for loading and dispensing pre-baked unpackaged food including a fixed cartridge disposed in a refrigerator of a vending machine, and a transport cartridge adapted to removably attach to the fixed cartridge, the transport cartridge operable for holding trays of unpackaged food and loading the trays of unpackaged food from the transport cartridge into the fixed cartridge, wherein, when the transport cartridge is removably attached to the fixed cartridge, a front opening of the transport cartridge aligns with a front opening of the fixed cartridge, and wherein the rack of the transport cartridge aligns with the conveyor system of the fixed cartridge such that trays of unpackaged food within the transport cartridge can simultaneously be transitioned from the rack to the conveyor system.
System and method of automatic outdoor small cell planning
A system and method for automatic deployment of at least one outdoor small cell. The method comprises dynamically collecting traffic data corresponding to a geographic location associated with a cellular network by a data collection module [202]. Next, a data collection module [204] automatically identifies a group of spatial grids from the one or more cells within the geographic location based on the traffic data and automatically determines one or more locations within the geographic locations for deploying the at least one outdoor small cell based on the identified group of spatial grids. A backhaul link clearance module [206] automatically determines a backhaul connection between the one or more determined locations with the cellular network. An azimuth planning module [208] automatically determines an azimuth for the at least one outdoor small cell based on the determined connection. A deployment unit [210] deploy the at least one outdoor small cell.
