The point processing unit has a function of giving points based on a bet amount of each player who is identified by the reader/writer device to the player.
Bonus bet system and method
Disclosed is a bonus bet system for use with a roulette game or other games as it relates to a player placing a bonus bet on an outcome of the roulette game or the other games. The bonus bet system may include a first outcome determination device, such as a wheel, and a second outcome determination device, such as a second wheel. The first outcome determination device includes a first plurality of outcomes displayed thereon, and the second outcome determination device has a second plurality of outcomes displayed thereon. The first and second pluralities of outcomes may be the same, or the second plurality of outcomes may be a subset of the first plurality of outcomes. When the outcome of the second outcome determination device corresponds to the outcome of the first outcome determination device, a bonus may be applied to successful wagers on the first outcome.
ENABLING FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS FOR ELECTRONIC GAMING MACHINES
A gaming system enabling financial transactions for an electronic gaming machine, or a plurality of electronic gaming machines is described. The gaming system includes an electronic gaming machine processor, a database, and a master gateway. The electronic gaming machine processor is associated with the electronic gaming machine. The database includes data for each financial transaction, the database including a financial transaction identification, a cardholder name, and a transaction value. The master gateway includes at least one of a problem gaming limit and a gaming rule set. The master gateway determines that the financial transaction complies with at least one of the problem gaming limit and the gaming rule set. The master gateway processes compliant financial transactions and rejects non-compliant financial transactions.
GAMING CHIP AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A new type of RFID tag is provided. A gaming chip that incorporates a sticker-type RFID tag comprises: an enclosing member having a predetermined shape for enclosing the RFID tag; a body member that is injection-molded to encapsulate the enclosing member with the RFID tag; and a gaming chip for amusement. The enclosing member consists of a first part and a second part, and at least the first part or the second part has a flat surface to which a sticker-type RFID tag can adhere, and the first part and the second part are combined to form an enclosing member, in which the sticker-type RFID tag is covered by the first part and the second part.
Degressive bonus system
Embodiments of the invention include a mystery degressive bonus system. Instead of a bonus that increases its value as the likelihood of winning the bonus increases, embodiments of the invention disconnect the likelihood of winning a mystery bonus from the amount awarded for triggering the mystery bonus. In some embodiments as the likelihood of winning the mystery bonus increases, the award for winning the mystery bonus decreases. Some embodiments include a minimum value for winning the mystery bonus. Additional embodiments are directed to an indicator system to show to the player a present amount of the mystery bonus award as well as the likelihood of winning the award. Further embodiments include a gaming device that includes a bonus game in which the amount awarded to the player decreases over time.
Personal electronic device for gaming and bonus system
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to communication methods in gaming networks using portable devices. In some networks portable devices communicate information about the status of particular gaming machines on the gaming network. In other networks portable devices are used as a secondary display for the gaming device. In yet other networks bonus games may be played on the portable devices. Further embodiments include a portable device that operates to match a current state of a game to a pre-defined state or states.
Linked reel strip mechanism for re-spin series
In an electronic gaming device, a linked reel strip mechanism uses one or more data structures for multiple reel strips of a reel strip group. Each of the reel strips is logically linked, in the data structure(s), with one or more other reel strips of the reel strip group. User input is received that indicates a start to a re-spin series, and the linked reel strip mechanism is initialized. As part of backend processing, in each of one or more iterations of the re-spin series, for a current reel strip selected by traversing the data structure(s), a spin result is determined for a spin that uses the current reel strip, and an outcome associated with the spin result is determined. In corresponding frontend processing, the current reel strip is displayed as spinning in a reel area on a display screen, and an indicator of the outcome is displayed.
Gaming machine with current theoretical return-to-player display and dynamic adjustment of same
Gaming machines or systems that provide for display of a current theoretical return-to-player (CTRTP) characteristic to the player during play of a game of chance are provided. Such gaming machines may also provide the player with opportunities (and notifications thereof) to increase the CTRTP characteristic by satisfying one or more CTRTP increase conditions associated with a credit wagering rate of the player on the gaming machine that the player is playing. Some such gaming machines may have automated wagering functionality in which the gaming machine may automatically place wagers for the player as long as certain conditions are met. In such gaming machines, the player may be able to control or influence the automatic wagering behavior of the gaming machine through the use of a rate selector that allows the player to change the wagering frequency and/or the wager amount used to place the automatic wagers.
System and method for dynamically configuring triggering conditions of an event
Systems and methods which modify one or more triggering conditions of an event based on a quantity of occurrences of one or more tracked elements.
Gaming system supporting data distribution to gaming devices
In one aspect, gaming machines and systems are configured to distribute of viral events, such as viral gaming events, amongst devices. The devices can, for example, be gaming machines and/or mobile devices. According to one embodiment, once a viral event is triggered, it is presented at one or more first devices at a first time. The viral event spreads to other devices, such as one or more second devices where it can be presented at a later time. The viral event may continue to spread to numerous other devices. In another aspect, an apparatus, method, and system to acquire and display casino data on a portable electronic device may include a portable electronic device operative with a real-time location based data application to transmit the location of the portable electronic device and acquire, prioritize, store and display real-time casino data.
