Automated teller machine
Provided is an automated teller machine which effectively prevents a banknote from being blown away by wind when a banknote is input or withdrawn through an input-output unit of the automated teller machine. The automated teller machine includes an input-output unit which includes an inlet in which a banknote accommodation space is formed so that a banknote to be input or withdrawn is loaded therein and through which external wind is introduced, a movement path through which the external wind introduced through the inlet passes, and an outlet through which the wind that passes through the movement path is discharged to an upper surface of the loaded banknote.
KIOSK-BASED SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DIRECT DEPOSIT OF COIN AND/OR OTHER CASH VALUE
Various embodiments of systems and methods for direct depositing funds (e.g., consumer coin value, paper cash value, etc.) into an account at a bank or other financial institution are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the systems and methods described herein enable a consumer to pour a batch of loose coins into a coin counting kiosk and have the coin value deposited directly into one of the consumer's accounts at a financial institution (e.g., a debit card account, credit card account, savings account, checking account, etc.) by swiping their bank card through (or inserting their bank card into) a card reader at the kiosk and selecting the desired transaction.
Short Travel Pusher Plate Stacking Bin
A pusher plate stacking bin apparatus is provided for a valuable media depository. The apparatus comprising a pusher plate driven by a rack and pinion apparatus to stack a media item that is in a final position within the apparatus onto a media stacking platform. The media item is urged into the final position such that a trailing edge of the media item overhangs and rests on a fixed media guide and such that a leading edge of the media item overhangs and rests on a hinged media guide with a bottom surface of the media item elevated above the media stacking platform. The rack and pinion apparatus drives the plate past the media guides causing the hinged media guide to drop and the media item to fold along the leading edge as the media item is stacked onto the platform.
Systems and methods for reducing ATM deposit losses
A provider system includes an automated teller machine (ATM) and a providing computing system that includes an input/output logic configured to receive, from the ATM, deposit information corresponding to an interaction between a customer and the ATM, and that includes an event indicator relay logic configured to extract an event indicator value from the received deposit information, process the event indicator value, determine an event indicator trend for the ATM, and determine, based on the event indicator trend, a service condition of the ATM.
Provisioning of an individual computing device via ATM
An automated teller machine (ATM) includes a network interface and an authentication circuit configured to receive data indicative of an interaction with the ATM by a user, detect that an individual computing device is in proximity to the ATM, determine that the individual computing device is not associated with a financial account, display a prompt comprising instructions to bind the individual computing device of the user to the financial account, receive data comprising a unique identifier of the individual computing device of the user, bind the individual computing device to the financial account based at least in part on the received unique identifier of the individual computing device of the user, and transmit, to the individual computing device, an application authorization, the application authorization authorizing an application to complete operations associated with the financial account via the bound individual computing device of the user.
Automated teller machine
The automated teller machine that conducts transactions by a customer operation is provided. The automated teller machine comprises a customer service part configured to receive customer operations; an input pocket; a media recognizer configured to recognize the medium; a first storage storing the medium; a discharge pocket configured to place the medium delivered from the first storage so that the customer can take the medium out; a first transport path that connect the input pocket, the media recognizer, the first storage, and the discharge pocket to transport the medium; a second storage storing a collected medium that is forgotten to be taken out from the discharge pocket by the customer; and a second transport path connecting the second storage to the first transport path, wherein the second storage is arranged above the first transport paths and on an opposite side of the customer service part.
No-downtime universal utility cassette for recirculation in multiple systems
A utility device for receiving and dispensing bills is disclosed. The utility device includes a sensor structured to detect at least one parameter associated with the bills received by the utility device, a cleaning component structured to perform a cleaning operation on one or more of the bills received by the utility device, and memory having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform a utility operation comprising receiving data from the sensor regarding the at least one parameter, and selectively causing the cleaning component to perform the cleaning operation on one or more of the bills received by the utility device from a cash-bearing component based on at least the data and a location of the utility device.
AUGMENTED REALITY SECURITY APPLICATIONS
A method implemented on an augmented reality electronic device includes establishing a wireless connection with an automated teller machine (ATM). The AR electronic device is used to authenticate a user of the AR electronic device at the ATM. An initiation is permitted of a financial transaction through user interface functionality for the ATM that is displayed on the AR electronic device. Financial information for the financial transaction is displayed on a display screen of the AR electronic device, instead of displaying the financial information at the ATM.
MEDIUM STORAGE DEVICE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE MEDIUM STORAGE DEVICE
A medium storage device includes: a safe having, at a rear portion, an entrance for replenishment and recovery to which a transit cassette is connectable; an identification unit serving to identify whether a medium is a normal medium or a rejection medium; a temporary holding unit configured to temporarily accommodate a medium; a recycle cassette configured to accommodate the medium identified as the normal medium; a conveyance path configured to convey the medium between the identification unit, the temporary holding unit, and the recycle cassette; a control unit configured to control the conveyance path such that the medium replenished from the transit cassette is conveyed to the temporary holding unit, the medium conveyed to the temporary holding unit is conveyed to the identification unit, and the medium identified as the normal medium in the identification unit is conveyed to the recycle cassette.
Variable deposits maximums for a digital cash deposit digitization service
