FINANCIAL TRANSACTION SYSTEM AND MEDIUM MANAGEMENT METHOD IN THE FINANCIAL TRANSACTION SYSTEM
A financial transaction system includes: an automated teller machine providing medium stack information; a bank server that calculates provisional replenishment number information; and a medium management unit that prepares a transit cassette containing mediums required in replenishment transaction, and inputs the provisional replenishment number information in a memory of the prepared transit cassette. When the mediums in the transit cassette are replenished, the bank server calculates actual replenishment number information based on current medium stack information received from the automated teller machine, and provides the calculated actual replenishment number information to the automated teller machine. The automated teller machine controls a conveyance path for the mediums so that the mediums are replenished from the transit cassette based on the actual replenishment number information and mediums as non-replenishment banknotes are recovered to the transit cassette, and provides non-replenishment banknote number information recovered in the transit cassette to the bank server.
Immediate release of resource for data transfer
In an aspect, the present application describes a computer system. The computer system includes a communications module and a processor coupled to the communications module. The computer system include a memory coupled to the processor storing instructions that, when executed by the computer system, cause the computer system to: receive, from an automated teller machine (ATM) and via the communications module, an indication of a deposit of a value instrument; save, in the memory, a retention instruction including an associated temporal period, the retention instruction preventing withdrawal of value instruments corresponding to an amount of the deposit; receive, via the communications module, an instruction to process a data transfer to a recipient, the data transfer to the recipient accessing at least a portion of the deposit; and process the data transfer to the recipient during the temporal period using at least a portion of the deposit.
EXCHANGE SERVICE ROBOT AND EXCHANGE SERVICE METHOD USING THE SAME
An exchange service robot includes a communication unit, a traveling unit including at least one wheel and a traveling motor, an output unit configured to output a request for putting a currency, a currency recognition sensor configured to recognize the amount of currency put through a currency slot, and a processor configured to acquire information on a withdrawal amount based on exchange rate information between the put currency and a currency to be withdrawn and the amount of put currency, and provide the currency to be withdrawn based on the acquired information.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING CURRENCY GENIUNESS
The present invention is a system and method to equip the ATM (Automated Teller Machine) with the special hardware to detect the each currency note to determine whether that note is a legal tender or not. The counterfeited currency hardware will work with computer executable instructions to detect counterfeited notes while feeding and dispensing in to and from the ATM machine respectively. The aim of the invention is to negligate the chance of counterfeited currency being fed and dispense from the ATM.
Method and System of Validating Cash Transactions
A method and system of validating cash transactions which comprises capturing a unique identifier of a banknote, storing the unique identifier against a user identity of a user; and upon receiving the banknote as tender for payment, checking the unique identifier of the banknote against the user identity, requesting an authorization for release of the banknote for payment, and in response to receiving a successful authorization, transmitting an accept banknote message and in response to a failed authorization, transmitting a decline banknote message.
Systems, methods and devices for ATM access during outages
Disclosed herein are system, method, and device embodiments for ATM access during a power outage. In an example embodiment, an automated teller machine (ATM) may receive power from a mobile device including a banking application, send the power to a rechargeable battery of the ATM, and enter a reduced power mode, wherein the ATM is powered by the rechargeable battery. Further, the ATM may receive a transaction request including an authentication credential from the banking application, determine an account associated with the authentication credential, determine an authorization result indicating whether to perform the transaction request, and generate recordation information corresponding to the authorization result.
Money handling system
A money handling system includes a money handling apparatus (for example, a coin handling apparatus (1)) configured to handle money and a placing unit (90) on which the money handling apparatus is placed and provided with an orientation change mechanism for changing an orientation of the money handling apparatus in a horizontal direction.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING ATM FRAUD VIA COUNTING NOTES
Systems and methods for ATM fraud detection are presented. ATM fraud detection may be provided in the context of including a currency sensor in the ATM to count currency notes. ATM fraud detection may be obtained by using a currency sensor, such as a scanner, to image and count any currency notes that remain after being dispensed to a user, and determining if the count is correct for the currency notes dispensed. A count discrepancy resulting from removal of some but not all dispensed currency notes would indicate attempted theft or fraud.
Instant bank account crediting via a bill-validating depositing system
Briefly, example methods, apparatuses, and/or articles of manufacture are disclosed that may be implemented, in whole or in part, using one or more computing devices to facilitate and/or support one or more operations and/or techniques for instant bank account crediting via a bill-validating depositing system, such as a smart safe, for example.
