Systems and methods for ATM integrated card fabricator
Systems and methods provided herein may include a card replacement system. The system may include an automated teller machine in data communication with a server. The automated teller machine may include an input device; a processor; a replacement card storage containing at least one replacement card, wherein the at least one replacement cards may include a magnetic stripe and a chip; a magnetic stripe writer; a chip writer; and an embossing device. The processor may be configured to: receive a replacement card request via the input device; request replacement card information from the server; encode replacement card information onto the replacement card using the magnetic stripe writer and the chip writer; and emboss user information onto the replacement card using the embossing device.
Money handling apparatus and money handling method
A money handling apparatus (for example, a banknote handling apparatus) includes a destination selector configured to select a storage unit where at least one of a counterfeit money and suspect money among the money transported by the transporting unit is to be transported, from the plurality of storage units (for example, each banknote storage unit, each storage/feeding unit, collecting unit, banknote ejecting unit, and the like) and a controller configured to control the transporting unit to transport at least one of the counterfeit money and suspect money to the storage unit selected by the destination selector among the plurality of storage units.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROCESSING PREAUTHORIZED AUTOMATED BANKING MACHINE-RELATED TRANSACTIONS
A method for facilitating payment transactions includes receiving a transaction request for a payment transaction initiated at a payment terminal device using a transaction card of a user. A predefined category of the user is identified based on the transaction request and a service application is remotely activated in a first operation mode on a user device of the user such that the first operation mode is associated with the identified predefined category. Payment transaction messages associated with the payment transaction are communicated to the activated service application, which translates the payment transaction messages to a predefined message format. In response to the payment transaction messages, first authentication information is received from the activated service application such that the first authentication information is entered by the user in the predefined message format. The payment transaction is processed based on successful authentication of the user.
Apparatus for storing mediums and method of controlling the same
An apparatus for storing a medium includes a safe having an entrance for replenishment and recovery to which a transit cassette is selectively connected, a reception unit configured to deposit and withdraw a medium by a customer, an identification unit serving to identify whether the medium is a normal banknote or a rejection banknote, a deposit cassette configured to store the medium deposited through the reception unit, a recycle cassette configured to store the medium recognized as the normal banknote, a conveyance path configured to convey the medium, and a control unit configured to control the conveyance path.
Intelligent cash handling
Aspects of the disclosure relate to cash handling devices that provide intelligent monitoring and management of cash cycles. A cash handling device having at least one processor, a communication interface, and memory may receive, from a mobile device, a request to process a pre-staged transaction. Subsequently, the cash handling device may generate and present a graphical identifier based on the mobile device requesting access to the cash handling device. Next, the cash handling device may verify that the mobile device is authorized to perform the pre-staged transaction based on the graphical identifier being scanned by the mobile device and cause a connection to be established between the cash handling device and the mobile device. Thereafter, the cash handling device may identify and process the pre-staged transaction associated with the mobile device. Then, the cash handling device may generate a notification indicating completed processing of the identified pre-staged transaction.
Automatic teller machine with pre-registration
An ATM pre-registration tool allows a user to request an amount of cash from an ATM before traveling to that ATM. The pre-registration tool receivers a user's request and determines whether a specified ATM contains the requested cash. If the ATM does not contain the requested cash, the pre-registration tool informs the user that the ATM does not contain sufficient funds to fulfill the user's request. If the ATM contains the requested cash, the pre-registration tool instructs the ATM to reserve that cash for the user.
Remotely Upgradable Automated Banking Machine
In an example embodiment, there is disclosed herein a technique that allows the capabilities of an automated banking machine, such as an ATM, to be upgraded remotely. For example, the banking machine may be sold or leased with an initial configuration. It the customer desires to add additional features, the customer can pay for the features and the manufacturer or dealer can send a signal from a remote host to the automated banking machine with data representative of the upgrade. The banking machine then operates with the upgraded configuration.
Mixed denomination cash cassette currency counter
A system includes a cassette structured to manage a plurality of bills, a first sensor structured to provide denomination information, a bill storage component, and a picker system structured to traverse the bill storage component. The system also includes memory having stored thereon instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to determine the denomination of the plurality of bills, generate a bill list, receive a transaction request indicating a specific denomination for dispensing, identify a storage position of a target bill from the bill list, and cause the picker system to traverse the bill storage component to the storage position of the target bill to retrieve the target bill for dispensing.
Casino cash system, apparatus and method utilizing integrated circuit cards
Methods, systems and apparatus are provided for facilitating financial transactions using an IC type financial card presented at a terminal. A requested transaction for monetary value is processed via a first transaction type. If the transaction is successful, monetary value is dispensed to the user. If unsuccessful, the card is not ejected and the transaction is processed via a second transaction type. The first transaction type might be a PIN based ATM transaction and the second transaction type might be a signature based transaction.
ATM TRANSACTIONS USING BARCODES IN MULTIPLE STATES
Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for allowing completion of cardless ATM transactions at an ATM using a barcode that encodes an identifier for that ATM. A user of a mobile banking app may begin a transaction on their mobile device and, upon reaching a stage of the transaction where ATM access is needed (e.g., to withdraw physical cash), requests that the user visit an ATM to scan the barcode. When the mobile app scans the barcode, the ATM displaying the barcode is associated with the transaction, and completes the transaction (e.g., by dispensing cash). This barcode, while usable to identify the ATM for this purpose, also provides additional information that can be obtained by any barcode reader. This additional information may, for example, be a link to a website that provides an explanation about this service.
