Cardless ATM connectivity for denomination selection
Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for providing denomination selection capabilities to account holders withdrawing funds via a cardless ATM system. An account holder may queue an ATM withdrawal in desired monetary denominations from a mobile application running on their mobile device. The account holder may subsequently scan a QR code displayed at an ATM using the mobile application and receive the desired monetary denominations from the ATM, all without using an ATM card. Two other approaches are provided to an account holder when queueing an ATM withdrawal that includes denominations. In a denomination-driven request, the account holder selects denominations first and then receives a list of proximate ATMs that can satisfy the denomination request. In a location-driven request, the account holder selects an ATM first and then can tailor the denomination request to the denominations available in the selected ATM.
Systems and methods for a night drop system
Systems and methods relating to a lockbox bank for currency drop-offs are provided. A lockbox bank includes one or more lockboxes, a safe coupled to the one or more lockboxes, and a terminal of a lockbox computing system. Each lockbox includes a receptacle configured to receive a currency drop-off and a locking mechanism. The terminal includes a network interface, a display device, one or more input/output devices, and a processing circuit including a processor and a memory. The memory is structured to store instructions that are executable by the processor and cause the processing circuit to receive a request from the customer to use a lockbox for a currency drop-off, receive access credentials, verify the access credentials, in response to successful verification, grant the customer access to a lockbox, and in response to determining that the drop-off has been completed, move the drop-off from the receptacle to the safe.
ATM customer messaging systems and methods
A method including receiving identification information for a first account holder at a financial institution, authenticating the first account holder via an automated teller machine (ATM) based on the identification information, identifying an event associated with the first account holder, including determining date information for the event, configuring a message relating to the event to be displayed to the first account holder based on the event, storing trigger configuration information comprising a time window including the date information for the event, and displaying the message to the first account holder via the ATM, the message being displayed when the first account holder accesses the ATM at a time occurring within the time window.
Systems and methods for processing preauthorized automated banking machine-related transactions
Embodiments of the disclosure enable a transaction to be preauthorized. A system receives a request for preauthorization of a transaction including a transaction amount and a cardholder identifier, identifies a cardholder account based on the cardholder identifier, determines a transaction timeframe and a machine identifier, and accesses the cardholder account to determine whether to process the transaction in accordance with a nonvisual communication program. On condition that the transaction is to be processed in accordance with the nonvisual communication program, the system generates an instruction to identify a capture time, determine whether the capture time satisfies the transaction timeframe, and dispense the transaction amount of cash in accordance with the nonvisual communication program on condition that the capture time satisfies the transaction timeframe. Aspects of the disclosure provide for preauthorizing the transaction in a secure and user-friendly manner.
Enriching transaction request data for maintaining location privacy while improving fraud prevention systems on a data communication network with user controls injected to back-end transaction approval requests in real-time with transactions
While mobile device location remains, private, user transaction controls are applied to a specific authorization request. The user transaction controls are pre-configured by the user of the mobile account holder device and identified by the enriched merchant data. Location algorithms predict transaction locations used to obtain enriched merchant data responsive to location privacy mode. Responsive to the user transaction controls, a fraud recommendation response is sent to the approval system, in real time with the transaction. The fraud recommendation response prevents a false negative by using an enriched merchant location rather than the raw merchant location.
Biometric validation process utilizing access device and location determination
A biometric matching process is disclosed. The biometric matching process may be used to obtain access to a resource managed by an access device using only biometric information. In some embodiments, a biometric template is stored in relation to a user device and/or account information, and is obscured. Upon receiving a request for access to a resource from an access device, the system may identify a number of user devices in proximity to the access device. Biometric templates associated with each of those user devices may be compared to a biometric template received from the access device. Upon identifying a match, the system may provide the access device with account information stored in relation to the matched biometric template. The access device may then complete a transaction using the provided account information and grant access to the requested resource.
System for providing applications on an automated teller machine (ATM)
Described is an Automated Teller Machine (ATM), and related systems (and methods), that allows for applications (or “Apps”) to be accessed on the ATM. The system allows for a third-party application to be verified and installed on ATMs to provide users with additional services. The application may access peripherals of the ATM via an Application Programming Interface (API) provided as part of a Software Development Kit (SDK). Accordingly, the system may provide a secure mechanism for ATM providers to provide users with the benefits of accessing third-party applications. Moreover, these applications may leverage specialized ATM peripherals and provide functionality that may not otherwise be available on other types of devices.
Apparatus and methods for contact-minimized ATM transaction processing using radar-based gesture recognition and authentication
Apparatus and methods for contact-minimized automated teller machine (“ATM”) use and transaction processing using Doppler-radar based gesture recognition and authentication. The apparatus and methods may include an ATM including a millimeter-wave radar transmitter and receiver. Movement of one or more objects, including fingers, within a radar field may be analyzed and translated into gestures and authentication passcode(s). By utilizing the radar field instead of physical buttons or a touchscreen, contact with the ATM may be minimized.
Step-Up Trusted Security Authentication Based on Wireless Detection and Identification of Local Device(s) with Unique Hardware Addresses
Information security processes, systems, and machines for authenticating users, wirelessly detecting a user's local devices, calculating a trust score based on the local devices, and setting a transaction limit are disclosed. An ATM or POS machine can read a card, authenticate a user, and wirelessly read MAC or other unique hardware addresses for one or more of the user's local devices. Trust scores can be calculated based on the number of local devices that are detected in relation to the number of the user's devices that are registered, the historical presence of the user's devices during prior transactions, historical usage of the ATM or POS machine, geolocating, biometric authentication(s), etc. Dynamic transaction limits, types, and rights may be set for transactions corresponding to the trust score values. Transactions may be conducted wholly or partially in a contactless fashion.

An account holder may queue an ATM withdrawal in desired monetary denominations from a mobile application running on their mobile device. The account holder may subsequently scan a QR code displayed at an ATM using the mobile application and receive the desired monetary denominations from the ATM, all without using an ATM card.
