INFORMATION SENDING METHOD AND INFORMATION SENDING APPARATUS
An information sending method and an information sending apparatus are provided, which relate to the field of wireless communication technologies. A method includes acquiring state information of a receiver device; and determining a sending policy of to-be-sent information according to the state information. According to a method and apparatus in embodiments of the present application, a sending policy is determined according to state information of a receiver device, so that a receiver acquires information as much as it does not change a current state, thereby improving user experience of the receiver.
Monitored audio-based evacuation routes
The disclosed technology is directed towards providing guidance, e.g., point-to-point audio guidance, along an evacuation route. The presence of occupant(s) within a structure/area is monitored. If an evacuation event occurs, an evacuation route is determined for each occupant based on their current monitored starting location. Guidance is output, e.g., by various output devices along the evacuation route, which can be the safety monitors that monitor occupant presence, to guide each occupant from point-to-point along the evacuation route. For example, one monitor can be configured to hand off guidance responsibility to a next monitor along the evacuation route. The guidance can be customized for each known occupant based on their recognized features, or can be directed generally to an unknown occupant. Status information of the occupants can be provided to other occupants and to a responding entity. A responding entity can also be given directional guidance.
CLOUD-BASED AUTOMATED ASSISTANT FOR HANDLING INCOMING TELEPHONE CALL(S)
Implementations are directed to a cloud-based automated assistant that can handle incoming telephone calls on behalf of a user. In some implementations, processor(s) of a remote server can receive an indication of an incoming telephone call that is directed to a client device and via a cloud-based automated assistant executing at least in part at the remote server (e.g., that is remote from the client device). The processor(s) can determine a next action to be implemented by the cloud-based automated assistant and cause the next action to be implemented by the cloud-based automated assistant. In some implementations, the indication of the incoming telephone call can be directed to the cloud-based automated assistant (e.g., without the client device routing the incoming telephone call to the cloud-based automated assistant). In other implementations, the indication of the incoming telephone call is routed to the cloud-based automated assistant via the client device.
Enhanced visual and audio device for use in access control systems
Described herein are enhanced visual & audio devices for use in access control systems. In one aspect, the device includes a reader, a first sensor, and at least one processor. The reader receives a user credential. The first sensor detects motion within a predetermined distance from the device. The at least one processor triggers at least one output notification if motion within the predetermined distance from the device has been detected by the first sensor. In one aspect, the device is mounted to a surface proximately to an access point to a controlled area and the device includes a second sensor that detects motion that is indicative of a person passing through the access point.
The guidance can be customized for each known occupant based on their recognized features, or can be directed generally to an unknown occupant. Status information of the occupants can be provided to other occupants and to a responding entity. A responding entity can also be given directional guidance.
Doorbell camera having active cooling
A doorbell system is disclosed. The doorbell system includes a housing, a heat-generating structure, and a cooling system. The housing is configured to be coupled to a structure. The heat-generating structure and cooling system are coupled with the housing. The cooling system includes at least one active cooling cell. The heat-generating structure may be thermally coupled with the cooling system. The active cooling cell(s) are configured to utilize vibrational motion to drive a fluid for transferring heat from the heat-generating structure. The cooling system is coupled with and contained by the housing.
Systems and methods to provide a portable alarm
Systems and methods to provide a portable alarm, are disclosed herein. The system may include a top component that includes a connector, a first securing protrusion, and a second securing protrusion that extend out a bottom side of the top component; and a base component that includes a narrow cavity, a first notch, a second notch, and a battery-powered circuit board, the first securing protrusion, the second securing protrusion, and the connector engaging with or otherwise connecting with the first notch, the second notch, and the narrow cavity, respectively, to provide secure contact between the top component and the base component, the narrow cavity is linked to the battery-powered circuit board so that responsive to the connector being disengaged from the narrow cavity, an alarm is activated and responsive to the connector being engaged with the narrow cavity, the alarm is deactivated.

VOICE-ACTIVATED ASSISTANCE CALL SYSTEM AND PROCESS
In one embodiment, there is a voice-activated nurse call device comprising a processor, a memory, a microphone, a speaker, and an indicator that are housed such that the device couples to a nurse call control station socket found in hospitals and nursing homes.
Attention monitoring in a video conferencing session
In some implementations, a system may receive user data from a plurality of user devices corresponding to a plurality of users participating in a video conferencing session. The system may provide, based on the user data and as input to a machine learning model, user attention data associated with attentions of the plurality of users with respect to the video conferencing session. The machine learning model may be trained based on historical user attention data associated with a plurality of historical video conferencing sessions. The system may receive, as output from the machine learning model, an indication that one or more non-attentive users, of the plurality of users, are not attentive to the video conferencing session. The system may perform, based on the indication, one or more actions to gain attention from the one or more non-attentive users.
