Alarm System with Projection Means
An alarm system with a plurality of projection means located on the outside of the structure or structures the alarm system is monitoring that are integrated into the alarm system so that the plurality of projection means may display an image when the alarm system has not been tripped and displays an appropriate image associated with the type of incident that tripped the alarm when the alarm has been tripped.
Portable Sound Generator Apparatus
An apparatus for generating alerting sounds and broadcasting the same into the interior of a building so that an occupant can be made aware of an emergency, warning, etc. or of the building for various other purposes such as to greet a visitor or accept a package or sign documents from a transporter drone or robot. The sounds are generated by an exciter feature of a transducer held in a case, the exciter feature being able to be pressed against an exterior surface. The transducer vibrates its exciter feature in correspondence with audio signals transmitted to the transducer to broadcast corresponding sounds into the interior of the building by resonance induced in the door or other building member by the vibrating exciter feature. The sounds may resemble conventional alerting sounds such as a knocking or ringing sounds, and/or can be a spoken message either prerecorded in an audio source or created contemporaneously by being spoken by a user into a microphone. The device may be hand carried door to door as by delivery personnel and emergency workers and used to effectively alert occupants and eliminate the need for hand knocking or yelling a message through the door, or is mounted to a drone, robot, or other transporter device, or to some other portable device. The device may also be used to broadcast sounds in an open area by holding the exciter feature against a sign board or other structure in an open area.
PERSONAL INCIDENT ALERT SYSTEM
A personally installable home emergency alert system, for alerting aid responders and to guide them to a residence where an individual has suffered a personal incident, and having a bulb having a globe portion containing a plurality of low voltage response lights, a base portion attached to the globe containing a plurality of response circuits and connectable to a domestic conventional power supply and adapted to activate the response lights, fastening means on the base portion whereby it is adapted to be received in a conventional domestic electrical lamp receptacle, and, a radio frequency remote controller adapted to communicate with the response circuits in the base portion operable to activate the low voltage response lights.
POWER OUTLET CAMERAS
A security system can can be configured to mount to a power outlet. The security system can include a detection system comprising a camera, motion detector, speaker, microphone, and a pair of electrical prongs arranged and configured to protrude into the power outlet to receive power for the detection system. The security system can also include a remote computing device communicatively coupled to the detection system.
Automatic home safety beacon device
A system for generating a visual home exterior alert in response to a home alarm, typically audio, including a light switch override portion operationally connected to a light switch for controlling outside lighting, and a listening portion positioned to detect an alarm sound. Upon detection of a predetermined alarm sound, the listening portion is actuated to send an enabling signal to the light switch override portion. Upon receipt of the enabling signal, the light switch override portion sequentially energizes and deenergizes the outside lighting in a predetermined pattern.
DOORBELL COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Doorbells often include a button to enable visitors to ring a chime to summon building occupants. In some embodiments, doorbells include a camera to take pictures of visitors. In several embodiments, doorbells include covers that are light filters. These light filters can cover infrared light sources such as infrared light emitting diodes. The light filters can pass infrared light while blocking visible light. In several embodiments, a front portion of a camera assembly fits through a hole in a light filter. Light filters can help secure camera assemblies and can form a portion of a doorbell's outer housing.

Emergency rescue notification apparatus and system for storm shelters
An apparatus and system utilized in a storm shelter to notify rescue personnel that a person is in the storm shelter and needs assistance to get out. The apparatus comprises a tubular member, a cap at the upper end of the tubular member, a mechanism at the upper end of the tubing to signal rescue personnel and a mechanism to move the tubular member upward. The signaling mechanism is a light source with apertures in the tubing to allow light to emanate outward, reflective material, florescent paint and/or an audible source. The moving mechanism comprises a threaded rod vertically supported by a base with a threaded nut that rotates on the rod to raise the tubular member or it comprises a lifting mechanism that raises the tubular member. The system has an opening in the upper wall of the shelter and a removable plug apparatus that plugs the opening.
NOTIFICATION SYSTEM FOR BUILDINGS
The purpose of the present application is to provide a notification system that is for buildings, that can be introduced and widely used in ordinary collective housing and office complexes without the need to make a large investment in equipment, and that enables an emergency event taking place in a building to be detected by passersby passing the vicinity of the building. An emergency event display device equipped with a large screen display is installed in a position that is visible to passersby passing outside the building. When there is some emergency event in the building, an indication of the emergency event is displayed on the display device upon receipt of notification from a residence or a common use space where a notification means is installed. A display of the display device normally shows an ornamental picture or video so as to soothe the residents walking in and out of the building or the passersby passing in front of the building, whereby an impression of the building can be bolstered. The display device is made noticeable not only to residents but also to passersby passing in front of the building so as to make it possible to report an emergency event in an efficient way and consequently provide safety for the residents.
Emergency kit
An emergency kit (10A), including an apparatus (38A) including: a long-range communication device including a unique identity module (30A), for receiving (24) a status of the apparatus (38A) from another long-range communication device (26B); and a visual/vocal/transmitting device (16A), for being turned on once the status is active, thereby the apparatus (38A) indicates a first location of an emergency event setting the active status.
