SMARTLOCK SYSTEM FOR IMPROVED FIRE SAFETY
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage mediums, for a smartlock device that can be integrated in a door at a property. The smartlock device includes a locking mechanism configured to lock the door and to unlock the door. The device includes a radio device and a sensor that determines a first temperature of the smartlock device and a second temperature of a room that is accessible via the door. The radio device is operable to: i) receive parameter signals from the sensor indicating each of the first and second temperatures; ii) transmit data that includes the first and second temperatures to a monitoring system; and iii) receive a command to cause the locking mechanism to unlock the door based on information from the monitoring system. The information includes a determined routing of occupants at the property and is presented on a display of the device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EMERGENCY EVENT REPORTING AND EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION
Systems and methods for emergency event reporting and emergency notification are provided herein. An example method includes monitoring a location of one or more devices of a plurality of devices, selecting an environmental safety condition for the one or more devices using the location, and selecting a device behavior for the one or more devices, the device behavior including a physical response produced by the one or more devices that is based on the environmental safety condition and the location.
Virtual three-dimensional holographic safety gate
A method includes: determining, by a computing device, an operating condition of a machine in an industrial environment; determining, by the computing device, a hazard based on the operating condition; determining, by the computing device, one or more safety precautions based on the hazard; generating, by the computing device, a virtual three-dimensional holographic safety gate around the machine based on the one or more safety precautions.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR AIDING EMERGENCY RESPONDERS IN RETRIEVING A PATH
A method for aiding emergency responders in retrieving a path, including receiving motion data from a first motion sensor registering motion of a first emergency responder of at least one emergency responder exploring an emergency scene; compiling track data based on the motion data of the first motion sensor, wherein the track data represents a first track of the first emergency responder through the emergency scene; calculating path data based on the track data, wherein the path data represents a path coinciding with at least a part of the track; and providing the path data to an actuator arranged for guiding an emergency responder of the at least one emergency responder along the path.
SYSTEM TO EVALUATE AND MANAGE PEOPLE ENTERING A BUILDING BASED ON INFECTION RISK DATA, ENVIRONMENTAL DATA, AND BUILDING ENTRANT HEALTH DATA
A method for providing access into a building is shown. The method includes receiving an indication that a potential building occupant is requesting access into the building. The method includes providing input data into a probabilistic model, the input data comprising current health data of the potential building occupant obtained in response to receiving the indication. The method includes analyzing, via the probabilistic model, relationships between a plurality of weighted variables within the probabilistic model to determine an entry decision for the potential building occupant, wherein each of the plurality of weighted variables are representative of subsets of the input data. The method includes, in response to the entry decision permitting the building occupant to enter the building, providing a control signal to a security system to permit access to the building for the building occupant.
Systems and methods for managing smart devices based upon electrical usage data
Managing the operation of devices within a home or other property based upon electrical usage data. With customer knowledge or consent, a home controller may retrieve and analyze electrical usage data corresponding to a device, such as by comparing it to certain threshold data. If the analysis results in a trigger condition, the controller may generate a command, and transmit the command to the device for implementation, allowing modification of device operation to address any issues indicated in the electrical usage data. The controller may notify a home owner/occupant. As a result, faulty devices may be managed prior to their faults causing damage to the device and/or the property, and/or property owners may be timely prompted to investigate, repair, and/or replace a failing device. Insurance discounts may be provided based upon the risk mitigation/prevention functionality.
Building egress lighting apparatus, system, method and computer program product
A modular and decentralized architecture for building illuminated means of egress from a device level to a building system level, wherein low and high mounted illuminated means of egress inside a building can use the same luminaire form factor.
System for evacuating one or more mobile robots
There is provided a system and method for evacuating one or more mobile robots from a confined area. The system and method involve one or more mobile robots equipped with sensors or receivers for receiving evacuation commands directing the one or more mobile robots to leave the evacuation area and enter a location outside the evacuation area.
Wearable misplacement
An access control system is described in which a primary credential device has a master key and a secondary credential device has a key derived from the master key. Both the master key and the derivative key are required to gain access to the resource protected by the access control system. If the secondary credential device is lost, misplaced, or stolen, it cannot be used to gain illicit access to the protected resource, and it can be easily replaced by providing a different secondary credential device with another key derived from the master key.
Navigation method for evacuation in emergency state
A navigation method for evacuation in an emergency state includes creating a visualized map image based on an outdoor space and at least one indoor space in an area. A plurality of indoor locators and a plurality of outdoor locators are used to locate a personal mobile device held by a person. The personal mobile device is located when a controlled event, such as a gunshot event or a fire event, occurs. An augmented reality image is used to guide the person to an emergency refuge area. A visualized mag image is used to provide the person with information containing the location of the personal mobile device, the controlled event location, the emergency refuge area, and an evacuation route, thereby assisting the person in rapidly and easily moving away from the controlled event location.
