ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS DEVICE
An ordering indication device for use in restaurants, guest houses, hotels, catering companies, and the like, the ordering indication device including an input means, which can be operated by a guest, a communications interface, an optical indicator means, and a control unit, wherein the setting of the brightness of the one or more first light sources and the setting of the brightness of the one or more second light sources depend on an environmental condition, wherein the input means is operatively connected to the optical indicator means via the control unit such that the optical indicator means signals the activation process of the input means by means of an optical signal, following an activation of the optical indicator means by the input means, wherein the optical indicator means, following activation thereof, outputs an optical continuous signal, which can be deactivated.
Paging system and method using wireless communication
A paging system comprise paging buttons configured to transmit a first signal including a paging request; a server configured to: receive the first signal, identify which of the paging buttons transmit the first signal received by the server, and transmit to at least one portable device a second signal including information on an identifier corresponding to the identified paging button that transmits the first signal, and the paging request; and at least one portable device configured to: display the identifier corresponding to the identified paging button and/or the paging request based on the second signal, and transmit to the server a third signal in response to an acceptance input responded to the paging request. The server transmits to at least one portable device a fourth signal confirming that the portable device transmitting the third signal is matched to the identified paging button in response to the third signal.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF COMMUNICATING DEVICES USING VIRTUAL BUTTONS
A method of communicating devices using virtual buttons comprises receiving, by a user device, a store code and transmitting, by the user device, the store code to a server; searching, by the server, for virtual buttons corresponding to the store code, and transmitting, by the server, to the user device the virtual buttons corresponding to the store code; providing, by the user device, an interface configured to receive a location identifier and button selection input among the virtual buttons received from the server, and transmitting, by the user device, the location identifier and the button selection input to the server; transmitting, by the server, to a staff device the location identifier and the button selection input; and receiving, by the staff device, the location identifier and the button selection input and displaying information associated with the location identifier and requested service corresponding to the button selection input.
BLUETOOTH SERVICE CALL SYSTEM
A Bluetooth service call system for a customer calling a waiter to provide service content in the business area includes a Bluetooth pager. The Bluetooth pager further includes at least one trigger button for the customer to operate a trigger button to send a service request message; a wireless base station for receiving a service request message and sending a service message; a wireless receiving device, worn by the waiter for receiving the service message; and a cloud console for setting the trigger button corresponding to the service content and saving the Bluetooth pager's location table and the service table. Under such conditions, the Bluetooth service call system can change the service content of the trigger button by simple setting and be widely utilized in various applications that require different service.
Method and Apparatus for Illuminating the Status of a Consumable
An apparatus for communicating the status of a consumable includes a sleeve with a tubular housing. The tubular housing has a lumen with a proximal section and a distal section separated by an internal flange. The sleeve includes a battery case or power module with a coaster coupled on the proximal side of the internal flange, an electronic module and a power supply module coupled to the distal side of the internal flange. A sensor in the form of a spring-loaded switch is located on the coaster to trigger and enable a status indicator based on a predetermined weight of a beverage container. The status indicator is an LED light source or wireless signal coupled to the sensor through the electronic module.
Clamp and pivoting flag for tables
Devices, apparatus, and methods for clamping a pivoting arm/flag onto an edge of furniture, such as a table edge, countertop edge, and the like, with or without messages and advertising indicia thereon, in order to signal servers and wait staff that service is being requested. The clamp can include a one-piece clip with a substantially horizontal top leg perpendicular to a top edge of a back panel, and an upwardly angled lower leg attached to a bottom edge of the back panel.
Wireless communication system and method for converting specific data between a network interface communication standard and an incompatible radio broadcasting communication standard
Sound generation and transmission systems and methods using a radio transmitter are provided. A first electronic device receives specific data via a network connecting unit, generates a specific sound according to the specific data, and outputs the specific sound via a sound output unit. A radio transmitter receives the specific sound via a sound input unit, and broadcasts the specific sound in a specific frequency range via a radio transmission module.
DEVICES FOR GENERATING SERVICE REQUESTS AND METHODS THEREOF
Devices for generating service requests and methods thereof are provided. The device at least includes a wireless transceiver, a sensor, and a controller electrically coupled to the wireless transceiver and the sensor. The sensor detects the presence of an object. When the object is present, the controller determines whether the object is continuously present for a predefined interval. If so, the controller generates a first signal at least including a specific service ID, identification data corresponding to the device, and first content data, and wirelessly broadcasts the first signal via the wireless transceiver.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR REMINDING USER REQUESTS
Methods and systems for reminding user requests are provided. First, at least one specific electronic device generates specific data corresponding to a request of a user, and transmits the specific data via a first network. Then, an intermediate electronic device receives the specific data from the specific electronic device via the first network, and performs a request management process for the specific data, wherein the request management process is performed according to the time at which the specific data is received by the intermediate electronic device. When a result of the request management process conforms to a predefined condition, the intermediate electronic device generates a reminder to prompt the request corresponding to the specific electronic device.
