Cross-client sensor user interface in an integrated security network
An integrated system includes a system user interface (SUI) that provides an iconic, at-a-glance representation of integrated security system status. The SUI is for use across all client devices including mobile or cellular telephones, a mobile portal, a web portal, and a touchscreen device. The SUI includes a number of display elements presented across all types of client devices for monitoring status of the integrated security system. The display elements of the SUI include an orb icon, text summary, security button, device warnings, system warnings, interesting sensors, and quiet sensors. The SUI thus provides system status summary information agnostically across all clients. Additionally, the SUI provides consistent iconography, terminology, and display rules across all clients as well as consistent sensor and system detail across clients.
SENSOR DEVICE COMPRISING A VIBRATION DETECTOR
It is provided a sensor device comprising: a vibration detector configured to be provided in contact with a windowpane of a window; a sensor controller; and a cable between the vibration detector and the sensor controller; wherein the vibration detector comprises a piezoelectric sensor that is configured to wake up the sensor controller when a vibration is detected by the piezoelectric sensor.

BAROMETRIC PRESSURE TO REDUCE SECURITY FALSE ALARMS
A security monitoring system includes at least one sensor configured to sense an event condition. A security monitoring system controller communicates with the sensor and an indicator of alarm and trouble conditions. The central security system also detects barometric pressure within a monitored area. The security system controller is configured to receive an event signal indicative of an event from the at least one of the sensors and receive an indication of the barometric pressure from a barometer. When the barometric pressure from the barometer indicates a change in barometric pressure, the security monitoring system controller confirms that the event is present and outputs an indication signal to the indicator based on the confirmed event. When the barometric pressure from the barometer does not indicate a change in barometric pressure, the security monitoring system controller suppresses the output of the indication signal.
Wireless sensor unit communication triggering and management
Various embodiments of wireless ambient sensor unit are presented. The sensor unit may include a wireless transceiver configured to transmit sensor data and to receive instructions. The sensor unit may include a sensor configured to measure an ambient condition. The sensor unit may include a controller in communication with the wireless transceiver and the sensor. The controller may be configured to compare data measured about the ambient condition to a stored threshold while the wireless ambient sensor unit is functioning in a low-power mode. The controller may be configured to exit the low-power mode in response to the comparison of the data with the stored threshold. The controller may be configured to cause the data measured about the ambient condition to be transmitted by the wireless transceiver as one or more messages in response to the comparison to the stored threshold.

SECURITY / AUTOMATION SYSTEM CONTROL PANEL WITH ACOUSTIC SIGNATURE DETECTION
Example implementations include a method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium comprising monitoring, by a control panel, an ambient noise via one or more microphones in the control panel. The implementations further include determining, by the control panel, whether the ambient noise includes an acoustic signature associated with a security event. In some implementations, the security event may comprise a glass break event. In some implementations, the acoustic signature may comprise a first sound followed by subsequent sounds. The first sound may comprise a thump sound, and the subsequent sounds may comprise crashing sounds.

Jamming detection method and device
Jamming detection device (7) and method, which scan one or more frequency bands (201, 401, 402) and, if jamming is detected in said frequency bands (201, 401, 402), transmits an alarm signal through an ultra narrow band network (8). Preferably, both an ISM network (2) connecting a control panel (3) and at least one peripheral (1), and a GSM network (4) connecting the control panel (3) and a back end service (5), are scanned. Also preferably, the ultra narrow band network (8) is implemented over the same frequency band (801) as the ISM network (2) connecting the control panel (3) and the least one peripheral (1).
A TAMPER DETECTION DEVICE AND A METHOD FOR INSTALLING THE DEVICE
There is provided a tamper detection device comprising a laminate; a contact lead attached to the laminate; and a detection module connected to the contact lead. It is advantageous that the laminate is configured to conform to an application surface, and to move the contact lead. A method of installing the device is also disclosed.
