20170272696 · 2017-09-21 ·

A multi-transceiver configuration method, a multi-transceiver channel multiplexing method, and an apparatus are disclosed. The multi-transceiver configuration method includes: an access point obtains maximum data transfer rates R.sub.i(n) of N terminals STA.sub.is on sub-channels n in a specified sub-channel combination, where 1≦i≦N, and N is a positive integer greater than 1; and calculates a channel access time T.sub.i(n) required by the STA.sub.i for transmitting an average data volume on the sub-channel n, and when the specified sub-channel combination manner meets an allocation requirement of the N STA.sub.is, the access point configures at least one transceiver for each sub-channel n in the specified sub-channel combination.

Loop conductor security alarm system
11210914 · 2021-12-28 ·

The present invention provides a loop conductor based alarm and security system to secure a number of valuable objects together in such a manner that if an attempt to remove any one object in the linked group is made, an alarm will sound (locally and remotely, if desired). The system uses electronic controllers that monitor the condition of an electrically conductive loop path that has been established around and/or through the valuable objects, connecting them to a generally immovable object such as a vehicle or trailer. A unique “lasso” termination element is used in connection with a standard electrical extension cord or a standard trailer plug connector wiring harness. A loop conductor electronic controller is used in each case. The electronic controller may be connected to existing security systems for the vehicle as well as to ancillary components such as sirens, wireless telemetry devices, and other vehicle security system components.

Display for hand-held electronics

The design described here is a new display for hand-held consumer electronic devices. The display has a mounting member, or puck, that is lifted from rest on a display surface. The puck carries a rechargeable power storage device for the hand-held device. The power storage device charges when the puck is at rest but is disconnected and powers the hand-held when the puck is lifted. The puck also carries a wireless device that outputs a security alarm signal for the purpose of indicating a theft event.

Apparatus for securing a package

An apparatus for securing a package includes a flexible tear-resistant bag and an anchor system for securing the bag to a substrate. The bag includes a receptacle defining a package receiving space and a closure mechanism connected to the receptacle for selectively closing the receptacle. The anchor assembly includes a housing, a fastener, and an anchor securable to the substrate. The housing may be positioned in the package receiving space with the fastener extending through the housing and the receptacle and matingly received in the anchor. A door of the housing may be secured in a closed position to limit access to the fastener. In some embodiments, the bag of the apparatus may also be provided with an alarm system so if an unauthorized entry is attempted by cutting the tear-resistant bag the alarm system will emit an alerting signal.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING VIBRATIONS IN THE PERIPHERY OF AN OPTICAL FIBRE

The invention relates to a system and method for detecting vibrations on the periphery of an optical fibre, which is divided into five subsystems that are connected together. First, a light-source subsystem (6) generates light, which is transmitted through an optical fibre subsystem (2). Then, speckle interference patterns generated in the optical fibre are read using a CMOS micro camera subsystem (5). Subsequently, the information is analysed by a processing subsystem (7), producing an alarm signal that is notified to the outside by means of a communications subsystem (1).

DATA CENTER SECURITY SYSTEM

Sensors, systems, and methods for data center security are provided. In one example, a data center monitoring system includes at least one sensor configured to be attached to a fixture in a data center. The sensor is configured to transmit a wireless signal for detecting an unauthorized access attempt to the fixture. The system also includes at least one monitoring device configured to communicate with the at least one sensor. The monitoring device is configured to receive a signal from the at least one sensor indicative of the unauthorized access attempt to the fixture.
