Smart sensor device and early warning notification system and method

A smart sensor early warning notification system. Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide for a smart sensor early warning notification system comprising a smart sensor coupled to a door and configured to detect one or more unauthorized access events, including sawing, blunt force and other atypical vibrations to the door. A smart sensor may be communicably engaged with a local alarm to communicate sensor data received at the smart sensor. The local alarm may be configured to process the sensor data received from the smart sensor and trigger an alarm event and/or notification or pre-event detection alert in response to the sensor data. A door controller may be configured to send different pulses or messages to indicate the type of alarm event to an alarm management server and/or access control servers via public/private cloud.

Sound field security system and method of determining starting point for analysis of received waveform using the same

Provided is a sound field security system with improved sound field analysis performance, and a method of determining a starting point for analysis of a received waveform by using the same, in which a starting point for analysis of a received waveform may be accurately determined even when there are irregular delays in a system, thereby enabling sound field analysis to be more adaptive to irregular delays that may occur in the system, and ensuring stable sound field security.

Artificial intelligence (AI)-based security systems for monitoring and securing physical locations

Various aspects of the disclosure relate to monitoring a physical location to determine and/or predict anomalous activities. One or more machine learning algorithms may be used to analyze inputs from one or more sensors, cameras, audio recording equipment, and/or any other types of sensors to detect anomalous measurements/patterns. Notifications may be sent one or more devices in a network based on the detection.

According to some embodiments, a control device for a premises security system that is configured to monitor a premises using a plurality of premises devices is provided. The control device is configured to obtain a plurality of acoustic samples for the premises, detect a sound anomaly in at least one of the plurality of acoustic samples, obtain a verification that the sound anomaly is expected, generate an acoustic model for the premises based at least on the plurality of acoustic samples and the verification that the sound anomaly is expected, receive data representing a detected sound during monitoring of the premises, compare the detected sound with the acoustic model for the premises to determine that the detected sound is unexpected, and initiate a premises security system alert based at least on the detected sound being unexpected.

A monitoring device may include a microphone and a processor. The microphone may detect a sound and generate audio data based on the sound. The processor may receive the audio data, generates classification data for the audio data using a classification model, determine whether the sound is recognized, determine whether the sound is expected for an environment of a premises, initiate a user alert in response to the sound being unrecognized, and initiate a premises alert in response to the sound being unexpected. The classification model may be trained to recognize a set of classified sounds. Environment data may be used to determine whether the sound, as classified, is expected for the environment. The environment may be a type of setting of the premises.

Mobile device as a security system component

In one implementation, a method for using a mobile computing device as a security system component includes receiving, from a mobile device and by a security system gateway, mobile device sensor information associated with sensor data captured by the mobile device at a premises monitored by the security system gateway; identifying, based on the received sensor information, a mobile device sensor information rule; identifying an action to perform in the mobile device sensor information rule; and automatically performing the identified action, by the security system gateway, in response to receiving the sensor information from the mobile device.
