Safety alert system
A safety alert system for alerting a user to a person, animal, or article unintentionally left in a vehicle includes an alert module that is configured to couple to an ignition key of a vehicle and sensing module that is configured to selectively couple to a person, animal, and article that is positioned in the vehicle. The alert module comprises a first transceiver, a first proximity sensor, and a first speaker. The sensing module comprises a second transceiver and a second proximity sensor, which is operationally coupled to the first proximity sensor so that a separation between the sensing module and the alert module is measurable. The second transceiver signals the first transceiver in event the separation exceeds a predefined distance, positioning the alert module to broadcast an alarm via the first speaker to alert the user that the person, animal, or article still is positioned in the vehicle.
Close range monitoring
A wearable device may connect to a wearable device over a short-range wireless connection. The user device may receive sensor data from the wearable device, where the wearable device has sensors. The user device may determine that a safety alert parameter has been met, and in response generate an audible alarm. The device may then determine that the connection between the user device and the wearable device has been disconnected, and in response, generate a second audible alarm.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMINDING A USER THAT AN INFANT IS ON BOARD A VEHICLE
A system for reminding a user of an infant's presence is disclosed. The system features a memory that stores computer-executable instructions and a processor which is communicatively coupled to said memory. The processor is used to facilitate the execution of the computer-executable instructions. These instructions include at least one reminder of the infant's presence, the identity of a primary individual to receive at least one reminder; at least one period of time to commence the sending of a notification, an interval period of time, among others.

Provided is a security device, comprising: a sensor that senses a presence in a vehicle and generates a presence signal; an ignition state detection device that detects a state of the vehicle, and generates a status signal; and a rules processor that determines from the presence signal and the status signal whether an alarm or message is to be generated.
Personal monitoring apparatus and method
An apparatus, including a housing, display; keyboard; at least one microphone; at least one speaker; at least two cameras; memory or database which stores travel schedule or itinerary information for an individual global positioning device; communication equipment, controller; and transmitter. If the controller detects a deviation of the apparatus from a travel schedule or itinerary or detects an absence of or leaving of the apparatus from an expected location, the controller generates a message and the transmitter transmits the message to a communication device associated with a third party. The controller activates the communication equipment to initiate a telephone call to the communication device or a second communication device, de-activates an on/off switching functionality of the apparatus, and deactivates a telephone calling on/off switching functionality.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SENDING MEDICAL EMERGENCY ALERTS
A system for sending medical emergency alerts includes a user device that includes a wireless communications module, a user interface, a processor in communication with the wireless communications module and the user interface, and a memory in communication with the processor. The wireless communications module includes a database storing an emergency contact. The processor is configured to: display a medication reminder on the user interface including a medication name; wherein, when the user interface has not detected a predefined action after a period of time, communicate a medicine alert to a caregiver mobile device, and; upon receipt of input from the caregiver mobile device, send the medicine alert to the emergency contact only after a caregiver has chosen to have the medicine alert sent to the emergency contact.
Social distancing devices and methods
A device for indicating appropriate social distancing includes the ability to project light (in various forms and in a various ways) onto the ground in a manner visible by the user and those around them. A boundary of the projected light can be set to an acceptable social distance and can include different colors to indicated varying social distances for varying levels of trusted individuals. Proximity sensors set to appropriate distancing requirements, along with the varying levels of trust can be implemented into multiple devices being used in a group setting.
