Method and device for providing object-finding information
The present disclosure relates to a method and device for providing object-finding information. The method is performed in an electronic device for finding an object and includes: when detecting that a preset loss event occurs, detecting device-relevant information of a surrounding device located around the electronic device; and sending the detected device-relevant information, as object-finding information, to a preset device.
Personal monitoring apparatus and method
An apparatus, including a housing; display; keyboard; at least one microphone; at least one speaker; at least one camera; memory or database which stores travel schedule or itinerary information for a first individual; global positioning device; communication equipment, controller; and transmitter. If the controller detects a deviation of the apparatus from a travel schedule or itinerary or detects an absence of or leaving of the apparatus from an expected location, the controller generates a message and the transmitter transmits the message to a first communication device associated with a second individual. The apparatus initiates a telephone call to the first communication device or a second communication device, de-activates an on/off switching functionality of the apparatus, and deactivates a telephone calling on/off switching functionality.
System and method for sending medical emergency alerts
A system for sending medical emergency alerts including a device body adapted to be attached to a user, an accelerometer connected to the device body, a wireless communications module, a user interface, a processor in communication with the accelerometer, the wireless communications module, and the user interface, a memory in communication with the processor, the memory including instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to receive acceleration data from the accelerometer, analyze the acceleration data to determine if a fall condition is present, and when the fall condition is present, communicate, via the wireless communication module, an alert to a caregiver mobile device, wherein the alert is adapted to indicate that the user wearing the device body has fallen.
Systems and methods for detecting and warning of the presence or absence of automobile occupant
Provided is a security device, comprising: a sensor that senses a presence in a vehicle and generates a presence signal; an ignition state detection device that detects a state of the vehicle, and generates a status signal; and a rules processor that determines from the presence signal and the status signal whether an alarm or message is to be generated.
Monitoring dependent individuals
Provided is a wearable child-monitor system. the system comprises a movable peripheral device associated with a user, the movable peripheral device, comprising: one or more sensors configured to generate output signals conveying information indicating the location of the moveable device with respect to a central unit; a tangible non-transitory machine readable media storing instructions that when executed by one or more processors of the central unit effectuate operations comprising: establish wireless communication between the movable peripheral device and the central unit; define monitoring settings to monitor the location of the movable peripheral device with respect to the central unit; determine information indicating the location of the moveable peripheral device with respect to the central unit; compare the information indicating the location with the defined monitoring settings; and generate an alert responsive to the information indicating the location of the peripheral device breaching the location indicator threshold.
Systems and methods for facilitating supervision of individuals based on geofencing
Disclosed herein is a method for facilitating supervision of individuals based on geofencing. Accordingly, the method may include receiving, using a communication device, a parameter from a supervisor device associated with a supervisor and a geographical location from the supervisor device. Further, the method may include analyzing, using a processing device, the geographical location based on a security parameter and generating a geofence corresponding to a geographical area based on the analyzing. Further, the method may include receiving, using the communication device, supervisee data associated with a supervisee from a supervisee device, including supervisee emergency input or nearby audio and video sensor data. Further, the method may include analyzing, using the processing device, the supervisee data based on the geofence and generating a supervision notification based on the analyzing of the supervisee data. Further, the method may include transmitting, using the communication device, the supervision notification to the supervisor device.
IDENTIFIER DEVICE
An identification device that can be adjustably fit around an object or person whose identity is to be monitored includes an electrically conductive identification strap; electrically conductive locking means designed for adjustable circular locking of the identification strap around a predetermined part of the object or person whose location is to be monitored, thus forming a closed electrical circuit when the electrically conductive identification band and the locking means are both in the working or closed position; and a wireless communications transceiver module designed to establish communication with at least one transceiver module mounted in a different identification device fit onto a different object or person, wherein a first transceiver module executes a linking procedure by radio transmission of identification data streams to at least one other transceiver module in listening mode to receive the identification data stream transmitted from the first identification device.
INFANT MONITORING SYSTEM
A monitoring system includes a sensor, a processing block and an alert generator. The sensor is used to generate images of an infant. The processing block processes one or more of the images and identifies a condition with respect to the infant. Then alert generator causes generation of an alert signal if the identified condition warrants external notification. In an embodiment, the sensor is a 3D camera, and the 3D camera, the processing block and the alert generator are part of a unit placed in the vicinity of the infant. The monitoring system further includes microphones and motion sensors to enable detection of sounds and movement.
