VISUAL NOTIFICATION OF DISTRACTED DRIVING
20230066670 · 2023-03-02 ·

A distracted driver can be informed of his or her distraction by a visual notification. It can be detected whether a driver of a vehicle is focused on a non-critical object located within the vehicle. In response to detecting that the driver of the vehicle is focused on a non-critical object located within the vehicle, an amount of time the driver is focused on the non-critical object can be determined. When the amount of time exceeds a threshold amount of time, a visual notification of distracted driving can be caused to be presented on or visually adjacent to the non-critical object.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING AND CONTROL OF SLEEP PATTERNS

Described embodiments generally relate to a method for improving data accuracy of sleep pattern data. The method comprises receiving first data relating to at least one sleep pattern metric; receiving second data relating to the at least one sleep pattern metric, wherein the second data is data entered by a user; determining the difference between the first data and the second data to calculate a data infidelity value; and in response to the data infidelity value exceeding a predetermined threshold, prompting a user to enter third data relating to at least one metric.

DETECTION OF UNSAFE CABIN CONDITIONS IN AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES
20230113618 · 2023-04-13 ·

Devices, systems and processes for the detection of unsafe cabin conditions that provides a safer passenger experience in autonomous vehicles are described. One example method for enhancing passenger safety includes capturing at least a set of images of one or more passengers in the vehicle, determining, based on the set of images, the occurrence of an unsafe activity in an interior of the vehicle, performing, using a neural network, a classification of the unsafe activity, and performing, based on the classification, one or more responsive actions.

Automobile detection system

A method includes receiving sensor data from a sensor associated with a vehicle and determining a likelihood that the vehicle is experiencing an emergency condition based on the sensor data. The method also includes sending an alert indicative of the likelihood, the alert comprising at least a portion of the sensor data.

TRAVELING SUPPORT DEVICE, CONTROL DEVICE, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM

An awakening degree detecting device outputs awakening degree information corresponding to an awakening degree of a driver of a vehicle. A stimulus providing device provides the driver with a stimulus including at least one of a visual stimulus, an audible stimulus, an electrical stimulus, a warm stimulus, a cold stimulus, and an action-inducing stimulus prompting an action of the occupant with respect to an appliance installed in the vehicle. A control device outputs, based on the awakening degree information, a first control signal causing the stimulus providing device to provide the stimulus in a case where the awakening degree is less than a first threshold, and to output a second control signal causing the stimulus providing device to provide the stimulus after the first control signal is outputted.
