CONNECTED DEVICE CONTROL WITH EXTERNAL DATA
Systems and method are provided for controlling a smart home device. In one embodiment, a method, performed by a server, for controlling the smart home device including detecting a smart home device in response to an internet protocol address of a data packet transmitted on a network, determining a function of the smart home device, receiving an event alert from an external data source, associating the function of the smart home device with the event alert, and transmitting a control signal to initiate the function of the smart home device in response to the association of the function with the event alert.
LIGHTING APPARATUS
A lighting apparatus with an image-projecting function that is convenient for a user can be provided. The lighting apparatus includes: an illuminating unit that emits illumination light; and a projection-type image display unit that projects an image. The projection-type image display unit is configured so that a setting menu screen settable about an image displayed by the projection-type image display unit can be displayed.
ABNORMALITY DETECTION SYSTEM, ABNORMALITY DETECTION DEVICE, ABNORMALITY DETECTION METHOD, AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
An abnormality detection system according to the present disclosure includes a measurement unit configured to acquire at least three-dimensional data indicating a distance to a target and a shape of the target by performing measurement, a central management unit configured to receive the three-dimensional data acquired by the measurement unit from the measurement unit, and a measurement data evaluation unit configured to hold in advance reference three-dimensional data, the reference three-dimensional data being the three-dimensional data to be a reference acquired by the measurement unit in the past, evaluate whether a difference between the three-dimensional data acquired by the measurement unit and the reference three-dimensional data is greater than or equal to a threshold value, and transmit an alarm to the central management unit when a result of the evaluation indicates that the difference is greater than or equal to the threshold value.
SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING DISASTER NOTIFICATION CONTENTS
A system which provides disaster notification contents includes: a DNC collecting module configured to communicate with a disaster notification contents (DNC) sending agency server and collect various DNCs; a DNC sending determination module configured to read the DNC collected by the DNC collecting module, check a DNC-related area, compare the DNC-related area with a preset user disaster interest area, and determine users whose disaster interest area matches the DNC-related area as DNC sending target users among the pre-stored users based on the result of comparison; and a DNC sending processing module configured to communicate with the DNC sending determination module, read the DNC sending target users list determined as DNC sending target users, and send the DNC collected by the DNC collecting module to the user information device owned by users included in the DNC sending target user list.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO DETECT MOTION ON SLOPED SURFACES
Systems and methods are described to identify motion events on a sloped surface, such as a mountainside, using transmitted and received radio frequency (RF) chirps. A one-dimensional array of receive antennas can be digitally beamformed to determine azimuth information of received reflected chirps. Elevation information can be determined based on time-of-flight measurements of received reflected chirps and known distances to locations on the sloped surface. Motion events may be characterized by deviations in return power levels and/or return phase shifts. The systems and methods may, for example, be used to provide real-time detection of avalanches and/or landslides.

NETWORKS, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ENHANCED WILDFIRE MITIGATION, PROTECTION AND SUPPRESSION
There is provided networks, systems and displays for providing derived data and predictive information for use in emergencies; and in particular for use in wildfire emergencies. More particularly, there is provided systems, equipment and networks for the monitoring and collecting of raw data regarding fire emergencies, both real time and historic. In embodiments, this raw data is then analyzed to provide derived data, predictive data, virtual data, and combinations and variations of this data, which depending upon the nature of this data may be packaged, distributed, displayed and used in various setting and applications to mitigate, avoid and manage the emergency, including a wildfire emergency.
Monitoring security
Methods are disclosed that, in some aspects, provide for the determination of alarm events or non-alarm events based on data received from various sensors monitoring one or more entry points of a premises. Non-alarm events may, for example, include a seismic event or a knock event. Determining whether the data received from the various sensors is an alarm or non-alarm event may be based on data received from two or more sensors monitoring two or more entry points of the premises. Further, data related to the non-alarm event that occurred at the premise may be compared to data related to non-alarm events that occurred at other premises and, based on the comparison, one or more authorities may be alerted to the non-alarm event.
