An indication system is provided and includes evaluation, messaging, and display modules and a display. The evaluation module generates a message based on a parameter of a compressor or a drive. The messaging module: generates a message based on the parameter; generates a string of glyphs based on the message; selects a predetermined number of glyphs in the string of glyphs; generates column data for the selected glyphs; and generates packets including the column data. The display module generates output signals based on the packets. The display includes an array of LEDs, does not include a transistor, and illuminates the LEDs based on the output signals. The display module is configured to generate the output signals to illuminate one or more of the LEDS in a column-by-column format, such that power is only provided to one column of the array of LEDs at any moment in time.

A system for monitoring maintenance for manufacturing apparatuses in a facility is provided. The system includes at least one manufacturing apparatus, the manufacturing apparatus including an RF identification tag and a module, and a control system. The control system is configured to receive, from the module, operational status information that indicates time periods during which the manufacturing apparatus is in operation, determine a cumulative time duration of operation for the manufacturing apparatus, retrieve a predetermined maintenance interval for the manufacturing apparatus, determine whether the cumulative time duration of operation exceeds the predetermined maintenance interval, and in response to a determination that the cumulative time duration of operation exceeds the predetermined maintenance interval, i) output a signal that causes the manufacturing apparatus to discontinue operation, and ii) cause instructions for completing a required maintenance procedure to be displayed on a display device in communication with the control system.

Remote valve reopening

An abnormal consumption detection system is provided with remote valve control for a distributed water infrastructure. The system may comprise an electronically controllable valve, a remote communication transmitter, a remote communication receiver, at least one sensor for measuring water flow information associated with the distributed water infrastructure, and at least one processor. The system may determine from the water flow information obtained from the at least one sensor a potential abnormal consumption associated with the distributed water infrastructure. The system may automatically close a valve, without human intervention, when the potential abnormal consumption is determined. The system may transmit, via the remote communication transmitter to a remote administrator, alert information about the potential abnormal consumption to enable an administrator to decide based on the transmitted information whether to reopen the valve. The system may receive from the administrator via the remote communication receiver a control signal to reopen the valve, despite the information about the potential abnormal consumption, and reopen the valve.

METHOD FOR MONITORING THE MACHINE GEOMETRY OF A GEAR CUTTING MACHINE AND AN APPARATUS WITH A GEAR CUTTING MACHINE, A MEASURING DEVICE AND A SOFTWARE MODULE

An integrated fire and emergency management system comprised of standard emergency devices wherein each device is equipped with a sensing device configured for detecting and reporting to a server, by way of a transceiver, to a Central Management Software which connects to the Internet and all manner of private networks. The devices include alarm bells, extinguishers, manual alarm stations, battery-backed emergency lights which also comprise infrared, smoke, and motion detectors, sprinklers from a sprinkler system, smoke detectors (6 in 1), a display screen for displaying evacuation instructions, and light strips along the walls to indicate the best exit route. The 6-in-1 smoke detectors send their readings to the server where the Central Management Software has an algorithm that determines the best evacuation route that minimizes exposure to smoke and noxious gases.

Reducing nuisance notifications from a building automation system

Reducing nuisance notifications from building automation systems is described herein. One device includes a memory, and a processor configured to execute executable instructions stored in the memory to receive a notification of an alarm from a building automation system, compare attributes of the alarm to attributes of alarms included in a database of suppressed alarms, refrain from transmitting a notification of the alarm to a mobile device in response to the attributes of the alarm matching attributes of any of the alarms in the database, and transmit a notification of the alarm to a mobile device in response to the attributes of the alarm not matching the attributes of any of the alarms in the database.

A system is provided for differentiating between water usage of multiple water consumers using a common distributed water infrastructure. The system receives from a water sensor that is upstream of a plurality of appliances, signals indicative of water usage, and constructs from the signals a plurality of water event profile signatures. The system associates, based on differences between similar water event profiles, at least one water event profile signature with a first water consumer and associates a second water event profile signature with a second water consumer, and stores the water event profile signatures for the first water consumer and the second water consumer. The system constructs current water event profiles reflecting subsequent water usage in the distributed water infrastructure, and attributes a first current water event profile to the first water consumer and attributes a second current water event profile to the second water consumer.
