Pump panel accountability device and method of use

A system and method of use for an accountability system within a pump panel for signaling an alarm condition to first responders. The method and system include a display embedded within a pump panel, and a radio frequency (RF) sub-system. The RF sub-system is configured to receive transmissions from a respiratory protection device (RPD). The RPD is configured to transmit an alarm condition. The method and system also include a controller coupled to the display and the RF sub-system. The controller is configured to instruct the display to display an accountability indicator once the alarm condition is received by the RF sub-system.

INSPECTION ASSISTANT FOR AIDING VISUAL INSPECTIONS OF MACHINES
20220236197 · 2022-07-28 ·

A digital inspection assistant and a system and a method of using the inspection assistant as an aid during a visual inspection of a gas turbine engine are provided. In one aspect, the inspection assistant receives data that includes images captured by an optical probe installed through an access port of a gas turbine engine. The images can be still images or video of the interior of a core of the engine. A gateway can route the data to the inspection assistant. The inspection assistant can provide interactive inspection guidance to an operator and can detect component defects. The inspection assistant can provide real time defect analysis to the operator by generating an alert upon detection of a defect. The generated alert can be audible, a visual graphic presented on a display of the visual inspection, and/or some other suitable alert. The analysis results can assist the operator during inspection.

MONITORING OPERATION OF A WIND TURBINE

A method is provided for monitoring an operational parameter of a wind turbine. The method comprising defining a peer limit, measuring the operational parameter during operation of the wind turbine; and comparing the measured operational parameter to the peer limit. The wind turbine is a member of a peer group of wind turbines, each wind turbine of the peer group comprising a common characteristic. The peer limit is defined using measurements of the operational parameter measured on the wind turbines of the peer group of wind turbines.

For equipment in a production facility, information for more appropriately determining a state of the equipment is presented. The information processing device: receives information indicative of a state of equipment in a production facility (S202); carries out a process of outputting, when the received information indicative of the state of the equipment satisfies a first condition, a first alarm for prompting maintenance of the equipment (S204); carries out a process of outputting, when the information indicative of the state of the equipment satisfies a second condition, a second alarm that indicates occurrence of abnormality or a sign of abnormality in the equipment (S206); and carries out a process of outputting, in a distinguishably recognizable manner, a tendency in which the first alarm is outputted and a tendency in which the second alarm is outputted (S207).

FAULT DETECTION IN A MULTI-PHASE ELECTRIC MACHINE
20210396809 · 2021-12-23 ·

The present disclosure describes an apparatus, system, and method of use for detecting electrical faults in a multiphase electric machine. Often in platforms which require redundant reliability or have no readily available electrical connection to earth use ungrounded electrical architectures. This allows the system to continue normal operation even if there is an unintended short circuit or current path (electrical fault) between a phase of an electric machine and its case or some other part of the platform. It is important to be able to readily identify any fault in the phase windings of machinery operating in an ungrounded electrical architecture. Since a single fault in an ungrounded system will not cause any additional current draw or otherwise affect the system, it can be difficult to detect that a fault has even occurred. This provides an advanced warning system.

Radio frequency identification (RFID) sensor network for a work machine

An agricultural work machine, an agricultural work machine control system, and method for an agricultural work machine having RFID tags to determine a fault condition of machine components, devices, parts or systems. The RFID tags are located on, at, or near machine components or systems to sense a temperature of those components or systems. A receiver/transmitter interrogates the RFID tags and receives the sensed temperatures, and component identifiers. A controller receives the temperatures from the receiver/transmitter and compares the received temperatures to a threshold to determine whether a fault condition exists. If so, the controller transmits an alert signal to a user interface to indicate that a fault condition exists with an identified component, part, device, or system.
