METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR USING DATA PACKET TRANSMISSION TO DETERMINE COMPLIANCE WITH PROTOCOLS
One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for determining a time-length of an action are provided. For example, a first event may be detected. Responsive to detecting the first event, a first inquiry may be transmitted in a first direction, using a first device. The first inquiry may be received by a second device. Responsive to receiving the first inquiry, a first reply data packet, comprising an identification number associated with the second device, may be transmitted, using the second device, to the first device. A second event may be detected. Responsive to detecting the second event, a second inquiry may be transmitted in a second direction, using a third device. The second inquiry may be received by the second device. Responsive to receiving the second inquiry, a second reply data packet, comprising the identification number, may be transmitted, using the second device, to the third device.

DETECTOR
A detector is configured to be mounted to a container. The detector has a housing and a mounting arrangement for mounting the housing to a container. A sensor arrangement includes a sensor to monitor the container and to generate a sensor output signal in response to a sensed container event. A processor executes a machine learning algorithm trained to determine a class of the sensed container event for determining occupancy of the container from the sensor output signal, where the control system is configured to provide an output based on the class of sensed container event determined by the machine learning algorithm.

METHOD AND APPARATUS WITH VEHICLE CONTROL
A processor-implemented vehicle controlling method includes: determining whether an object in a vehicle is a living object based on radio detection and ranging (radar) information received from a radar sensor; in response to a determination that the object is a living object, determining bioinformation of the object based on the radar information; and adjusting a temperature in the vehicle based on the bioinformation and temperature information received from a temperature sensor.
INFANT/CHILD ANTI-ABANDONMENT SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES AND PROCESS FOR SIGNALING AN INFANT/CHILD INSIDE A VEHICLE
The present invention relates to an anti-abandonment system comprising: a first sensor (2) associable with a restraining device (R) placed in the vehicle, a second sensor (3) associable with a fastening tab or with a fastening buckle of a safety belt of the vehicle. The anti-abandonment system comprises a control unit connected to the first and second sensors and configured to perform a control procedure comprising the steps of: determining, as a function of the signal emitted by the first sensor, the presence of a child and/or an infant on the restraining device; determining, as a function of the signal emitted by the second sensor, a fastened or unfastened condition of the safety belt, defining an alarm condition in the event that the control unit determines the presence of a child and/or an infant on the restraining device and at the same time the unfastened condition of the safety belt. The present invention also regards a process for warning of a potentially hazardous situation relative to the presence of an infant/child inside a vehicle.

EXIT DETECTION SYSTEM WITH OBSTRUCTION REACTION
A person support apparatus, such as a bed, stretcher, cot, recliner, or the like, includes an exit detection system having a plurality of force sensors that support the weight of an occupant positioned on a support surface and obstruction detection system having one or more obstruction sensors. The force sensors are part of an exit detection system that issues an alarm when the occupant exits, or is about to exit, the person support apparatus. The bed exit system can react to detection of an obstacle. The distribution of weight applied to the force sensors is used to determine if the occupant is about to exit the person support apparatus. Compensation is made to the exit detection system for changes in the weight distribution that are not caused by movement of the occupant. Such changes may be due to not only movement of the person support apparatus or components thereof, but obstacles encountered by the person support apparatus or components thereof.
Method and system for detecting occupant interactions
Determining occupants' interactions in a space by applying a computer vision algorithm to track an occupant in a set of images of a space to obtain locations in the space of the occupant over time, where a history log of the occupant includes the locations of the occupant in the space over time is created and history logs of a plurality of occupants are compared to extract interaction points between the plurality of occupants.
SURVEYING DATA PROCESSING APPARATUS, SURVEYING DATA PROCESSING METHOD, AND SURVEYING DATA PROCESSING PROGRAM
Versatile and convenient safety management of a construction machine is achieved. Construction machines and workers are photographed by a camera of a surveying apparatus. The images of a construction machine and a worker are identified in the photographic image. The positions of the construction machine and the worker that are identified in the photographic image are measured by the surveying apparatus with the use of laser light. The separation distance between the construction machine and the worker in which the positions are measured is calculated. In the case in which the calculated separation distance is at a threshold or less, a warning is issued to the construction machines and the workers.
