Processing and notifications for missing and unavailable items
In some examples, a computing device may receive, from a user device, user input indicating selection of a first item to place an order with a merchant. The computing device may analyze a plurality of transaction records for past orders to determine a likelihood that the first item will be unavailable for the order. The computing device may send a communication that causes the user interface on the user device to display a notification including a request for an action to perform in the event that the first item is unavailable. The computing device may receive a response including an instruction for the action to perform. The computing device may cause the order to be placed with the merchant. In response to receiving subsequently an indication from the merchant that the first item is unavailable, the computing device may send a communication to cause the action to be performed.

NUISANCE DEGREE-DECISION SYSTEM, INFORMATION PRESENTATION SYSTEM, INFORMATION PRESENTATION METHOD, AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
An action detection unit (110) analyzes monitor data obtained by monitoring a monitoring place, and detects a relevant action performed at the monitoring place and having a characteristic that is common to a violating action. A situation analysis unit (120) analyzes visual data obtained by photographing the monitoring place, and detects a surrounding situation of an action position equivalent to a position where the relevant action was performed. The situation analysis unit decides a nuisance degree of the relevant action on a basis of the surrounding situation. A presentation control unit (130) determines an alert level on a basis of the nuisance degree. The presentation control unit presents presentation information corresponding to the alert level with using a presentation apparatus installed at the monitoring place.
System and method for adapting alarms in a wearable medical device
A wearable defibrillator includes one or more environmental sensors including an accelerometer, one or more ECG sensors configured to acquire ECG data, and an alarm manager and at least one processor operatively coupled to the one or more ECG sensors and the accelerometer. The at least one processor is configured to detect a cardiac abnormality in the patient, identify a notification having one or more characteristics, and detect an environmental condition of the wearable defibrillator. The accelerometer is configured to detect a presence or lack of patient motion, and/or detect a body position of the patient as the detected environmental condition. The at least one processor is configured to determine whether one or more factors exist that inhibit the patient's ability to recognize the notification, on determining their existence, adapt the one or more characteristics of the notification and provide an adapted notification, and issue the adapted notification.

Condition-responsive wearable device for sensing and indicating proximity of an article with a specific characteristic
A condition-responsive wearable device for sensing and indicating proximity of an article with a specific characteristic includes a processor and a sensor. The sensor is configured to detect an article with two or more information sources within a predetermined distance of the sensor. The information sources contain characteristic information of the article. The wearable device also includes a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to receive predefined characteristic information, select detected characteristic information from at least two of the information sources to compare with the predefined characteristic information, and compare the selected detected characteristic information with the predefined characteristic information. The wearable device includes an indicator configured to generate an alarm in response to detecting a match between the selected detected characteristic information and the predefined characteristic information.

ELECTRONIC MATERIAL SLEEVE FOR MEDICAL DEVICES
An electronic material sleeve has a length and wall thickness and is adapted to fit over a hand-held emergency medication dispensing device via material elasticity, the sleeve including at least a microprocessor and associated circuitry encapsulated within a wall of the electronic sleeve, the microprocessor adapted to support at least one computer aided task and at least one wireless communications technology, the sleeve having at least one encapsulated batter, a partly encapsulated charge port for charging the at least one battery, at least one LED partially encapsulated within a wall of the electronic sleeve, at least one audio speaker partially encapsulated within a wall of the electronic sleeve, and at least one eccentric rotating motor (ERM) adapted to vibrate encapsulated within a wall of the electronic sleeve, the sleeve capable of performing one or more tasks in response to a command signal.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM PRODUCT
According to one embodiment, an information processing device includes: a first memory; a first receiver; a first determination section; and a first transmitter. The first memory is configured to store first image data of interior of a vehicle at a first point in time. The first receiver is configured to receive second image data of the interior of the vehicle at a second point of time from the vehicle. The first determination section is configured to determine whether a change has been caused in the interior of the vehicle between the first point in time and the second point in time. The first transmitter is configured to transmit first data based on the determination result.
System and a method for notifying a user to replace a sacrificial anode
A device, system, and a method are provided for notifying a user to replace a sacrificial anode in a pool or spa system. The device is provided in the form of a body defining a cavity, a sacrificial anode, and a sensor. The sacrificial anode substantially surrounds the cavity when the sacrificial anode is coupled to the body. The sensor is at least partially received into the cavity and is in communication with a pool automation system. The sensor is designed to transmit a signal to the pool automation system when the sensor detects water within the cavity. The signal is processed by the pool automation system, and the pool automation system may then transmit a notification to a user that the sacrificial anode is depleted.
