POWER-ADJUSTABLE FURNITURE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS & METHODS
Techniques and architectures are disclosed for power-adjustable furniture management systems and methods. The system includes a first power-adjustable furniture and a second power-adjustable furniture connected to an electrical source. The first power-adjustable furniture is communicatively coupled to a computing device. The computing device includes a processor, and a power management mode executable by the processor. The power management mode is configured to adjust the first power-adjustable furniture. The power management mode is further configured to prevent the first power-adjustable furniture from being adjusted while the second power-adjustable furniture is operated. The computing device is communicatively coupled to a server computer via the network.
Method and electronic device for controlling external electronic device
A method for controlling an external electronic device of an electronic device, according to various embodiments, comprises the steps of: receiving data information corresponding to at least one function of the external electronic device from an external electronic device connected to the electronic device; displaying a setting window for setting a user interface for controlling the external electronic device using the data information; selecting a control item corresponding to the at least one function included in the setting window according to user input reception; and setting and displaying the user interface corresponding to the selected control item. Other embodiments are possible.
Smart terminal service system and smart terminal processing data
A terminal service system and a terminal processing data are disclosed. The terminal service system comprises a terminal and shoe performing data communication with the terminal, wherein the shoe comprises a communication unit for transmitting and receiving a signal to and from the terminal; a sensor unit for sensing first movement data of a user who wears the shoe, through a first sensor; a memory for storing data sensed through the sensor unit; and a controller for controlling turn-on/turn-off of a second sensor on the basis of the first movement data sensed through the first sensor included in the sensor unit to sense second movement data of the user who wears the shoe, and identifying the first movement data sensed through the first sensor from the second movement data sensed through the second sensor to transmit the identified result to the smart terminal, and the smart terminal configures and outputs a user interface on the basis of the first and second movement data transmitted from the shoe.
System comprising a drone and an entity for controlling this drone
A system includes a drone including an onboard entity; and a control entity for controlling the drone and situated remotely from the drone. The control entity enables an operator to select data for sending to the onboard entity, the onboard entity being adapted to execute actions as a function of the received data. The onboard entity is arranged to generate a message on the basis of the data as produced by the control entity and as received by the onboard entity, and to transmit the message to the control entity. The control entity acts via warning means to generate an information signal representative of said message. The operator can then act via validation means to cause an intention message to be transmitted that authorizes or does not authorize execution of said actions by the drone.
Remote management system
A remote management system includes an air conditioner, an information mediation device built in or connected to the air conditioner, an information management apparatus that acquires air conditioner information including items relating to the air conditioner via the information mediation device and a network, and a plurality of participant terminals. The terminals include one or more of a manager terminal, a manufacturer terminal, a seller terminal, a maintenance worker terminal, and a user terminal. The information mediation device transmits the air conditioner information to the information management apparatus at a certain transmission frequency. The information mediation device is able to change, according to a participant request input by each of the plurality of participant terminals, the items included in the air conditioner information to be transmitted or a transmission frequency relating to the transmission, or both.
CHARGE PORT AUTHORIZATION FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES
A system and method for wirelessly authorizing access to a charge port for an electric vehicle is provided. The system may first establish a wireless communication link with a charging cord and then receive, from the charging cord, a wireless signal including a charging cord identifier. Upon verifying that the charging cord is authorized for use with the electric vehicle based on the charging cord identifier, a charge port door may be opened providing access to the charge port. A wireless communication link with a charging cord may be established using a challenge-response protocol like some passive entry systems. Alternatively, a wireless communication link may be established using radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology embedded in the charge port and the charging cord handle.
Control device, display device, method, and program
There is provided a control device to improve convenience for a user by resolving or alleviating a disadvantage of a known voice interaction, the control device including: a device control unit configured to control one or more controlled devices; a voice notification unit configured to output user-oriented voice notification regarding at least the one controlled device; and a display control unit configured to cause a display device to display a message corresponding to the voice notification output by the voice notification unit.
WIRELESS SENSOR SYSTEM FOR HVAC SYSTEMS
A heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system. The system includes a housing with HVAC equipment. A sensor detects an operating condition of the HVAC system and wirelessly transmits a signal indicative of the operating condition. The sensor couples to or is disposed within the housing. A controller receives the signal indicative of the operating condition and controls operation of the HVAC system in response to the signal. The controller is coupled to or disposed within the housing.
Control apparatus and control method
A control apparatus and control method which enable equipment to be controlled adaptively to a user who gives a response in a scene where a request is made from outside. A control apparatus including a judging unit that determines control content of equipment in accordance with a request from outside, an inquiry unit that presents information in accordance with the request from the outside to a first user and make an inquiry to the first user as to approval regarding the control content judged by the judging unit, and an equipment control unit that controls the equipment in accordance with a response to the inquiry and information relating to the first user.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING A POWER STATE OF AN EXTERNAL APPARATUS AND METHOD THEREOF
An electronic apparatus and a power controlling method thereof are provided. The electronic apparatus may include a wireless communicator that communicates with a remote controller, a wired communicator that connects with an external input device and a processor that controls the wireless communicator to transmit a control signal to the remote controller for turning off power of the connected external input device in response to receiving a signal from the remote controller for turning off power of the electronic apparatus.
