REMOTE CONTROL APPARATUS CAPABLE OF REMOTELY CONTROLLING MULTIPLE DEVICES
The present invention relates to a remote control apparatus which can remotely control multiple devices. A remote control apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a key input unit having multiple keys; a reception unit for receiving at least one device identification signal from at least one device or a transmission device corresponding to the device; a processor for detecting an identification signal for a device, which can be remotely controlled, from the at least one received device identification signal, and matching at least one of the multiple keys to a control command for the remote control of the device, on the basis of the detected identification signal; and a transmission unit for transmitting a signal corresponding to the control command when the key matched to the control command is selected. Accordingly, the present invention can remotely control multiple devices.
Electronic Device System With Ring Devices
Electronic devices in a system may be controlled by a user. The user may have one or more wearable devices or other devices. A user's device may be used by the user in identifying a target electronic device of interest among the electronic devices in the system. The target electronic device may be identified using a gaze tracking sensor that senses the user's point-of-gaze, an orientation sensor that detects a direction in which the user's device is pointed, or other sensor circuitry. Visual feedback, audio feedback, and/or haptic feedback may be provided to the user to confirm which electronic device has been identified as a target electronic device of interest. User input may be gathered by sensors and used in adjusting operating parameters in the target electronic device of interest. Health monitoring operations and other operations may also be performed.
UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS (UAS) ROBOTIC-PLATFORM (DRONE) MANAGEMENT
An Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), automated management method is invented for civilian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) safe, controlled and accountable deployments. The method includes an attachable electronic module, use of a computerized networked enterprise (CLOUD), biometric operator authentication, all of which provides automated identification, GPS tracking location data and recording of all relevant information. The method's two separate hard-wired electronic modules are invented to provide many security and commercial entities, these include; flight platform electronic marking and identification, authorized operator authentication, operator documented training qualifications, systems setup and initialization.
Cellular phone for remotely controlling a function of a security device of a motor vehicle
The invention relates to a cellular phone (10) for remotely controlling at least one function of a security device (12) of a motor vehicle (11). The cellular phone (10) has a first transceiver unit (14), whereby a connection can be established to a cellular network (16). According to the invention, the cellular phone (10) has a second transceiver unit (18), by means of which a first radio signal (20) can be received. The cellular phone (10) can be switched into an active mode by means of the received first radio signal (20), and a second radio signal (22) with an authorization code (21) can be transmitted by means of the second transceiver unit (18) in the switched active mode in order to control the function of the security device (12).
Remote control system and method for portable terminals
Provided are a remote control system and method for controlling portable terminals. The remote control system includes a control terminal which is a portable terminal that performs a remote control operation, a target terminal which is a portable terminal that is subject to the remote control operation performed by the control terminal, and a remote control management server which determines whether the control terminal and the target terminal are heterogeneous, and if the two terminals are heterogeneous, converts messages respectively transmitted from the control terminal and the target terminal to a format conforming to corresponding receiving terminals.
Remote control system and remote control method, device for performing remote control operation and control method therefor, device operable by remote control operation and control method therefor, and storage medium
A portable information terminal is placed in proximity with an ID recognition unit of a notebook PC. By reading ID from the portable information terminal, the notebook PC is able to identify a network address of the portable information terminal so as to establish a network connection with the portable information terminal. The notebook PC then sends suitable operation information to the portable information terminal via a network. For example, if presentation is running on the notebook PC, screen information for operating the presentation is transferred to the portable information terminal. Accordingly, by using one device connected to the other device by a wired or wireless network, the operation of the other device can be controlled.
FACILITATING TELEMETRY DATA COMMUNICATION SECURITY BETWEEN AN IMPLANTABLE DEVICE AND AN EXTERNAL DEVICE
Systems, apparatus, methods and non-transitory computer readable media facilitating telemetry data communication security between an implantable device and an external clinician device are provided. An implantable device can include a security component configured to generate security information based on reception of a clinician telemetry session request from the clinician device via a first telemetry communication protocol. The security information can include a session identifier and a first session key, and the clinician telemetry session request can include a clinician device identifier associated with the clinician device. The implantable device can further include a communication component configured to establish a clinician telemetry session with the clinician device using a second telemetry communication protocol based on determining that a connection request, received via the second telemetry communication protocol, was transmitted by the clinician device based on inclusion of the clinician device in the connection request.
Electronic Device with Gesture Actuation of Companion Devices, and Corresponding Systems and Methods
An electronic device includes a biometric sensor, such as a fingerprint sensor, that identifies biometric input received at the biometric sensor. One or more processors operable with the biometric sensor identify one or more companion devices operating within a wireless communication radius of the electronic device. Where multiple companion devices are within the wireless communication radius, a user can make a selection of one or more of them. One or more gesture sensors identify a predefined gesture input, such as a key turn simulation. A wireless communication circuit responsive to the one or more processors, delivers an actuation credential to at least one companion device to control the companion device.
User terminal apparatus, electronic apparatus, system, and control method thereof
A user terminal apparatus is provided. The user terminal apparatus for performing a remote control function for an electronic apparatus includes a communication unit configured to communicate with an electronic apparatus for providing a text input user interface (UI), an input unit configured to receive a user command for input of a specific text on the text input UI, a fingerprint scanner provided in the input unit and configured to recognize a user fingerprint, and a controller configured to recognize a user fingerprint according to the user command and to transmit information corresponding to the recognized user fingerprint to the electronic apparatus in response to the electronic apparatus entering a preset text input mode.
Smart remote control system
A smart remote control system includes multiple terminals and a server. Each terminal is accessible by an electronic device through use of a registered account/password set. Upon receipt of an association request and a to-be-associated account/password set, one of the terminals is operable to transmit the to-be-associated account/password set to the server. In turn, the server determines whether the to-be-associated account/password set conforms with one of a plurality of user account/password sets stored therein, and enables the one of the terminals to be accessible by the electronic device through use of the to-be-associated account/password set when the determination is affirmative.
