Example techniques relate to lock screen media controls. While a mobile device is in the locked state, an example implementation involves selecting one or more playback devices from among the multiple playback devices connected to a local area network, displaying a lock screen control for the one or more selected playback devices, the lock screen control including: a playback status control displaying metadata of a particular audio track playing back on the one or more selected playback devices and one or more transport controls to control playback by the one or more selected playback devices. The example implementation also involves receiving input data representing a command to adjust playback volume on one or more selected playback devices and sending, via a wireless network interface of the mobile device, instructions to cause the one or more selected playback devices to adjust playback volume according to the command.

CONTROLLING REMOTE DEVICES USING USER INTERFACE TEMPLATES

A method includes receiving, by a first computing device (110) and from a second computing device (118), using a short-range wireless communication unit of the first computing device (110), data including state information of the second computing device (118) and identification information for the second computing device (118). The method also includes, responsive to a distance between the first computing device (110) and the second computing device (118) satisfying a threshold distance, determining a particular template graphical user interface from a plurality of template graphical user interfaces. The method also includes determining one or more operations the second computing device (118) is configured to perform. The method further includes outputting a graphical user interface (114) associated with the remote computing device (118). The method includes receiving a user input selecting a particular graphical element (130, 132, 134) of the graphical user interface (114) and transmitting, to the second computing device (118), an indication of an operation corresponding to the particular graphical element.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING MEDICAL DEVICE

The present disclosure relates to a method and system for controlling a medical device. The method includes: detecting, by an information detection apparatus, identification information of a terminal within a preset safety distance, and sending the identification information to the device control apparatus; determining, by the terminal, a current permission function of the terminal according to an acquired target operation parameter when the identification information passes verification of a device control apparatus; the target operation parameter including a target region where the terminal is currently located and a target safety condition; receiving, by the device control apparatus, an operation instruction corresponding to the permission function and sent by the terminal, and controlling the medical device to perform an operation corresponding to the operation instruction; and switching, by the terminal, a display mode to a preset target mode when a current state of the terminal satisfies a preset condition.

System and method for a smart remote carousel

Provided is a system, method, and apparatus for controlling a plurality of devices. The system includes a remote control device comprising a processor configured to generate a carousel zone comprising at least a subset of graphical icons of a plurality of graphical icons, determine a first target device and a second target device from the plurality of devices, generate a first user interface based on the first target device, the first user interface associated with a first set of commands, in response to a user input, generate a second user interface based on the second target device, the second user interface associated with a second set of commands, control the first target device based on the first set of commands, and control the second target device based on the second set of commands.
