The present disclosure includes apparatuses, methods, and systems for secure communication in a traffic control network. An embodiment includes a memory, and circuitry configured to receive a traffic control public key from a traffic control device, wherein the traffic control public key is received in response to providing, to the traffic control device, a request to modify content of the traffic control device, encrypt data corresponding to vehicle information using the traffic control public key, provide, to the traffic control device, the encrypted data to store the data in the traffic control device, and access a network of traffic control devices, including the traffic control device, via the data stored in the traffic control device.
VIDEO ANALYTICS TRAFFIC MONITORING AND CONTROL
A controlled intersection employs video analytics to identify incoming vehicles coupled with autonomous driving capabilities in the vehicle to selectively provide intervention for collision avoidance. A camera image of an approaching vehicle is used to identify a range and speed, and to compute whether intervention is appropriate based on a detected distance and speed from the intersection. A vehicle approaching a stop signal (e.g. “red light”) at an unsafe rate of speed triggers an invocation of on-board autonomous systems in the vehicle that provide appropriate warnings and ultimately, forced braking if warnings go unheeded. A registration system maintains a local grouping of vehicles in proximity to an intersection for minimizing latency in vehicle identification for commencing intervention. In this manner, on-board vehicle collision avoidance systems collaborate with complementary traffic control logic at a controlled intersection for preventing inadvertent or intentional disregard of a red signal.

In an information processing device, a determination unit determines whether a first distance from a position of a vehicle within a predetermined range of an intersection having a stop line to a road link of the intersection is shorter than a second distance from the position of the vehicle to a road link other than the road link of the intersection, based on vehicle information including information indicating the position of the vehicle and map information. An identification unit identifies whether the vehicle has stopped at the stop line, based on the vehicle information, when the first distance is determined to be shorter than the second distance.

In an information processing device, a determination unit determines whether a first distance from a position of a vehicle within a predetermined range of an intersection having a stop line to a road link of the intersection is shorter than a second distance from the position of the vehicle to a road link other than the road link of the intersection, based on vehicle information including information indicating the position of the vehicle and map information. An identification unit identifies whether the vehicle has stopped at the stop line, based on the vehicle information, when the first distance is determined to be shorter than the second distance.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING CHANNELIZATION OF TRAFFIC INTERSECTION
A method and apparatus for adjusting channelization of a traffic intersection are proposed. The specific implementation of the method is: obtaining a first traffic characteristic of vehicles at each of a plurality of target positions in a process of vehicles in a target traveling direction traveling through the traffic intersection from upstream to downstream in a preset first time period; generating first traffic change information of the traffic intersection based on the first traffic characteristic at each of the plurality of target positions; and in response to that the first traffic change information satisfies a preset first change distribution, generating channelization adjustment information for non-motorized vehicle lanes of the traffic intersection.

A method and apparatus for adjusting channelization of a traffic intersection are proposed. The method includes: obtaining (S210) an intersection parameter and a green wave parameter of n intersections on a preset road; calculating (S220) a duration of green wave travel for each road segment according to a green wave speed for the preset road; determining (S230) a constraint of green wave coordination according to the intersection parameter, the green wave parameter and the duration of green wave travel; determining (S240) an objective function of green wave coordination according to the forward green wave bandwidth and the reverse green wave bandwidth of each road segment; and performing green wave coordination control (S250) according to the constraint and the objective function.
