Techniques are provided to enable quick previews of what a modified document would look like. In an implementation, a set of page images are stored. Each page image represents a page of a document, the page having been converted to a page image for a first version of the document to permit the document to be viewed in a viewer program. A command is received to modify the document. The requested modification may include, for example, reordering pages, deleting pages, or extracting pages. A preview is generated for a second version of the document. The preview reflects the modification and uses at least one page image from the set of page images created for the first version of the document. Reusing page images allows the preview to be generated very quickly.

V2X ROUTE CONFLICT WITH EMERGENCY VEHICLE INDICATOR
20230162595 · 2023-05-25 ·

A route conflict with emergency vehicle identification system includes an infrastructure receiving vehicle location, speed and trajectory information of an emergency vehicle. An automobile vehicle is in communication with the infrastructure and receives the vehicle location, speed and trajectory information of the emergency vehicle. A navigation system of the automobile vehicle operates using global positioning system (GPS) data and preloaded map data to generate a map identifying at least one roadway and a potential conflict on the at least one roadway between projected paths of the emergency vehicle and the automobile vehicle on the at least one roadway. A head-up display or a head-down display of the automobile vehicle visually presents the potential conflict.

Presented are intelligent electronic footwear and apparel with controller-automated features, methods for making/operating such footwear and apparel, and control systems for executing automated features of such footwear and apparel. A method for automating a collaborative operation between an intelligent electronic shoe (IES) and an intelligent transportation management (ITM) system includes receiving, via a detection tag attached to the IES shoe structure, a prompt signal from a transmitter-detector module communicatively connected to a traffic system controller of the ITM system. In reaction to the received prompt signal, the detection tag transmits a response signal to the transmitter-detector module. The traffic system controller uses the response signal to determine a location of the IES's user, and the current operating state of a traffic signal proximate the user's location. The traffic system controller transmits a command signal to the traffic signal to switch from the current operating state to a new operating state.

TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE AND TRAFFIC LIGHT
20220319315 · 2022-10-06 ·

[Solving Means] A traffic control device according to an embodiment of the present invention is a traffic control device that controls a traffic light installed on a route of a vehicle running on the basis of an operation diagram, including: an acquisition unit; a determination unit; and a signal generation unit. The acquisition unit acquires, from the vehicle, vehicle information including information regarding the operation diagram and a current position of the vehicle. The determination unit calculates, on the basis of the vehicle information, an estimated time of arrival at the traffic light, and determines whether or not the estimated time is on a scheduled time. The signal generation unit generates, where it is determined that the estimated time is delayed from the scheduled time, a control signal for causing the traffic light to execute signal control for preferentially causing the vehicle to pass therethrough.
