Liquid Feed Systems for an Aerosol Delivery Device

The present disclosure provides an aerosol delivery device that includes a housing including a power source and a control component, a reservoir configured to contain a liquid composition, a liquid delivery component including a micropump, and an atomizing assembly including a vibrating component and a mesh plate. The micropump is configured to be controlled by the control component to deliver at least a portion of the liquid composition to the atomizing assembly, the atomizing assembly is configured to be controlled by the control component to vaporize the portion of the liquid composition to generate an aerosol, and the micropump and the atomizing assembly are integrated together using a common element. In another implementation, the micropump comprises a biomimetic micropump. In some implementations, the biomimetic micropump may include a xylem model structure and a leaf model structure.

Purpose of invention is to address and correct the limitations with vaping battery technology and to market the device to manufacturers of electronic cigarette/vaping devices. Current technology requires the use of lithium ion batteries which can accidentally explode during use or charging operations. There has been documented instances of spontaneous over-amping of batteries in devices causing burns and injuries to the users. My invention would completely do away with the use of internal batteries in vaping devices. Some of the benefits would be simplicity of use, increased safety, reduction of device weight, scalability to working with various manufacturers equipment and size reduction of device to name a few.

An electronic cigarette atomizing core and an atomizer are provided. The electronic cigarette atomizing core comprises an outer sleeve and an inner sleeve which are sleeved on each other. An atomization cavity is formed below the inner sleeve, and the outer sleeve is provided with a first e-liquid passing port. Two ends of e-liquid guide cotton are sandwiched between the outer sleeve and the inner sleeve, and the two ends of the e-liquid guide cotton cover the first e-liquid passing port. The inner sleeve is provided with an air supply groove for delivering air to an e-liquid tank. One end of the air supply groove is communicated with the first e-liquid passing port, and the other end thereof is communicated with the atomization cavity.
