GENERATING A VIRTUAL REALITY ENVIRONMENT
A method executed by a computing device includes generating a virtual reality environment utilizing a group of object representations by identifying a priority asset of a set of common illustrative assets for the object representations. The method further includes rendering the priority asset utilizing a first level of resolution to produce a set of priority asset video frames and Selecting a subset of the set of priority asset video frames to produce a common portion of video frames for the virtual reality environment. The method further includes rendering other representations of the group of object representations utilizing a second level of resolution to produce remaining portions of the video frames for the virtual reality environment. The method further includes linking the common portion and the remaining portion of the video frames to produce the virtual reality environment.
ACCESSING A VIRTUAL REALITY ENVIRONMENT
A method executed by a computing entity includes generating a virtual reality environment utilizing a group of object representations by rendering a representation of a first set of object representations and a second set of object representations to produce first portrayal 3-D video frames of a first piece of information for the virtual reality environment. The method further includes determining whether a second piece of information has been selected based on a second cue. When the second piece of information has been selected the method further includes rendering another representation of the second set of object representations and the first set of object representations to produce second portrayal 3-D video frames of the second piece of information for the virtual reality environment.
GENERATING MULTIPLE RESOLUTIONS OF A VIRTUAL REALITY ENVIRONMENT
A method executed by a computing entity includes generating a virtual reality environment utilizing a group of object representations by identifying a set of common illustrative assets and rendering the assets utilizing a first level of resolution to produce a set of common illustrative assets video frames. The method further includes selecting a subset of the set of common illustrative assets video frames to produce a common portion of video frames and rendering another representation of sets of object representations utilizing the first level of resolution to produce remaining portions of the video frames. The method further includes linking the common portion and the remaining portions to produce a first level of resolution of the virtual reality environment. The method further includes generating a second level of resolution of the virtual reality environment based on a priority asset of the set of common illustrative assets.
Creating an assessment within a multi-disciplined learning tool
A method for creating an assessment within a multi-disciplined learning tool regarding a topic includes deriving a first set of knowledge test-points for a first learning object regarding the topic based on a first set of knowledge bullet-points, an illustrative asset, and a first descriptive asset of the first learning object. The method further includes deriving a second set of knowledge test-points for a second learning object regarding the topic based on a second set of knowledge bullet-points, the illustrative asset, and a second descriptive asset of the second learning object. The method further includes generating a knowledge assessment asset based on the first and second knowledge test-points.
Interface for educational tool
An interface for an educational tool on an electronic device is described. The interface comprises a main menu to display at least an icon for the educational tool. The main menu appears on a display screen of the electronic device. The interface also comprises a summary menu to list a subset of at least one function of the educational tool. The summary menu is accessed directly from the main menu when a user selects the icon for the educational tool. The interface further comprises an exhibitory window to display a rhyming riddle function of the educational tool selected by the user from the subset listed on the summary menu. The rhyming riddle function presents the user with a rhyming riddle to be solved.
Electronic Document Presentation Management System
A method for managing engagement and presentation content of an electronic document involves providing container metadata identifying engagement containers within the electronic document, providing engagement data linked to the engagement containers, the engagement data comprising parameters of an engagement based on the segments of content in the linked engagement containers, executing a procedure to traverse engagement containers identified in the container metadata. The procedure includes accepting, based on user input, data responsive to the engagement, and assigning a score for the current engagement container based on the received data and the parameters defined in the engagement metadata.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THE CREATION AND PLAYBACK OF SOUNDTRACK-ENHANCED AUDIOBOOKS
A synchronised soundtrack for an audiobook. The soundtrack has a soundtrack timeline having one or more audio regions that are configured for synchronised playback with corresponding narration regions in the audiobook playback timeline. Each audio region having a position along the soundtrack timeline that is dynamically adjustable to maintain synchronization of the audio regions of the soundtrack with their respective narration regions in the audiobook based on a narration speed variable indicative of the playback narration speed of the audiobook.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MULTIMODAL BOOK READING
Systems and methods to process reading articles for a multimodal book application are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: identify a title of a reading article; store the title of the reading article in a database; scan two or more pages of the reading and generating text representing content of the reading article; analyze the generated text to identify characteristics of the reading article; store the identified characteristics in the database; associate the identified characteristics with the reading article title; generate augmented content files for one or more portions of the reading article based at least in part on the identified characteristics, and; and store the augmented content files in the database and associating the augmented content files with different portions of the reading article.
Integrating Machine- and Human-Interpretable Symbols
Toward the memorization of diverse metadata associated with a given kanji ideogram, a package is conceived wherein printed cards branded with QR codes on the card or directly on the kanji ideogram are read with the camera of a mobile device and the user is then furnished with metadata about the kanji ideogram germane to learning about the ideogram, as enabled by a software tool installed or available to the mobile device user, this software processing the QR code to reproduce the reading and other metadata. In place of a printed card, an electronic facsimile on the mobile device could also be used, wherein the QR code is sensed by the software tool.
