A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COMPUTER-ASSISTED INSTRUCTION OF A MUSIC LANGUAGE
The subject matter discloses a computerized system to assist teaching and learning a written music language the system comprising a processor configured to obtain a reference music data object, wherein the reference music data object comprises a sequence of note properties, said note properties comprise one or more note parameters; extract the note properties from the music data object; determine an associated note syllable based on the note properties; generate a visual music notation according to the note properties, and generate a synthesized solfege singing sound according to the determined note syllable and the note properties; a display unit configured to display the music notation; and, an audio generation unit configured to output the synthesized solfege singing sound to a user of the computerized system.
FRET LIGHTING DEVICE
A learning device assembly for a stringed instrument includes one or more light strip members, at least one light element in the one or more light strips, a connecting member electrically connected to the one or more light strip members, a controller electrically connected to the connecting member and configured to electrically drive the at least one light element in the one or more light strip members and a computing device communicatively coupled to the controller, the computing device configured to be programmed with or more music arrangements and enable the controller to illuminate one or more of the at least one light element in the one or more light strip members to enable a playing of one or more music arrangements on the stringed instrument.
Musical notation keyboard
The invention relates to the digital music writing being a digital musical notation symbols input tool. The invention is a keyboard specially dedicated for digital input of musical notation symbols. The keyboard is used for digital input of sheet music. The keyboard can be implemented as a physical device and shaped as combination of images in a touch screen. Every musical notation symbol shall be inputted with the keyboard control element specially dedicated for input of such symbol. Novelty of the invention is that the keyboard is a device specially dedicated for input of musical notation which does not require any accessories; all the musical notation symbols can be inputted using this keyboard only with the combination of two actions: indication of the symbol's location and the symbol itself; all the symbols shall be inputted as such, not by indication of their values; all the symbols which consist of elements, which have the values of their own shall be inputted by elements; the note heads, located vertically in different positions on the musical staff shall be considered as independent signs.
Providing feedback on musical performance
Providing feedback on a musical performance performed with a musical instrument. An instrument profile associated with the musical instrument used to perform the musical performance is identified. The instrument profile comprises information relating to one or more tuning characteristics of the instrument. The pitch of notes of the musical performance are analyzed based on the instrument profile to determine a measure of tuning of the musical performance. A feedback signal is generated based on the determined measure of tuning.
System and Method for Linearizing Musical Scores
A standard musical score represented in digital format is analyzed for its constituent parts in order to identify notational directives for traversing through the musical score. A linearized version of the musical score is generated that is in substantially the same visual format but allows the reader to traverse through the musical score exclusively in a forward direction and without need for jumps in a reverse direction or forward jumps beyond the subsequent consecutive page. In certain embodiments, forward jumps may be minimally limited to a page within the musical score while in other embodiments a forward jump may be minimally limited to a line or a measure. In yet other embodiments, reverse jumps may be entirely eliminated while in still other embodiments, reverse jumps within pages may remain unchanged.
System and method for reusable digital video templates incorporating cumulative sequential iteration technique in music education
Disclosed is a method of presenting a media file enabling a user to emulate musical content therein. The media file comprises a plurality of segments, each segment representing a demonstration of at least part of a musical phrase comprising one or more musical notes of a piece of music. The method comprises presenting a first segment of the plurality of segments for emulation by the user. The method further comprises subsequently presenting the first segment followed by a second segment of the plurality of segments for emulation by the user. The method further comprises subsequently presenting the previously presented segments followed by additional segments until all of the plurality of segments have been presented for emulation by the user.
UNIVERSAL MUSICAL INSTRUMENT TRAINER
A universal musical instrument trainer is disclosed that indicates a correct musical note and time to play. The trainer has a first array of (LEDs coupled in series. A housing has a receptacle channel configured to mechanically coupled to the first array of LEDs. A controller assigns, to each one of the first plurality of LEDs, a musical note selected from a plurality of musical notes. The controller generates, at one or more predetermined frequencies, one or more pulse signals that includes information corresponding to a duration and a frequency of each pulse of light to be displayed in one or more of the first plurality of LEDs.
AI-based piano co-pilot system and method thereof for enhancing piano skills
A piano co-pilot system for enhancing piano skills of a student, the system comprising: a co-pilot hardware, including: a LED strip having a plurality of LED lights and a listener/interface unit, the listener/interface unit including a processor unit and a touch screen/listener device; a cloud computing center having at least one application programing interface (API) and an artificial intelligence (AI) module, with the co-pilot hardware in communication with the cloud computing center; a piano, which is a keyboard having a plurality of arranged keys; wherein the LED strip is configured on the keyboard with the plurality of LED lights configured to correspond to the plurality of arranged keys; and wherein the listener/interface unit is configured upon the piano and the touch screen/listener device is accessible for visual and tactile interface by the student.
Music teaching system
A gaming platform including a touch panel having a contact surface that a user may contact to operate the gaming platform to perform a gaming function. A plurality of touch regions divides the contact surface into a plurality of discrete regions. Each touch region may correspond to a different gaming function such that contacting the contact surface of the touch panel within a particular touch region causes the gaming platform to perform a corresponding gaming function. The gaming platform may include a plurality of touch regions each corresponding to the gaming platform playing a different musical note. In this configuration, each touch region may correspond to a key, string, striking surface, or other musical part for playing a particular musical note.
