Page turning device for a musical instrument and system
A system for controlling a display of digital sheet music includes a musical instrument having a pedal, a computer including a display for displaying sheet music, and a page turning device fitted upon the pedal and communicatively coupled with the computer. The device has circuitry, which includes one or more sensors, a control mechanism, a power source, and a transmitter. Upon the user activating the page turning device, the control circuitry generates a sensor signal and outputs a page turning command to the computer.
Synchronizing playback of a digital musical score with an audio recording
Playback of a graphical representation of a digital musical score is synchronized with an expressive audio rendering of the score that contains tempo and dynamics beyond those specified in the score. The method involves determining a set of offsets for occurrences of score events in the audio rendering by comparing and temporally aligning audio waveforms of successive subclips of the audio rendering with corresponding audio waveforms of successive subclips of an audio rendering synthesized directly from the score. Tempos and dynamics of human performances may be extracted and used to generate expressive renderings synthesized from the corresponding digital score. This enables parties who wish to distribute or share music scores, such as composers and publishers, to allow prospective licensors to evaluate the score by listening to an expressive musical recording instead of a mechanically synthesized rendering.
Solfaphone
A 128-note MIDI-range monophonic musical keyboard instrument (100) includes an octave keypad (106) with eleven keys arranged in an analog clock face format for octave selection with the thumb of one hand, a pitch keypad (108) with twelve pitch keys similarly disposed in a clockface arrangement around a central omnivalent thirteenth key (128), enabling the nondisjointed sounding of nonadjacent notes with the thumb of the other hand. Spatial manipulation of the device, such as tilting and jabbing, can switch octaves and activate other functions, enabling one-handed operation and overcoming small-screen space limitation. Aside from producing typical electronic piano or synthesizer sounds, the device can sing in human voice an extended monosyllabic solfege covering all twelve pitch families of the common chromatic 12-tone even-tempered scale. A pictograph-based music notation (156) mirrors the circular geometry of the pitch and octave keyboards and facilitates the intuitive reading and playing of a melody.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD AND PROGRAM
There is provided an information processing device, an information processing method and a program that provide, as feedback to a user, information based on a level of collaboration of multiple movement elements in a performance provided by collaborative or non-collaborative moves of multiple parts of a body of the user and that are usable to support mastering a performance. The information processing device includes a sensing data acquisition unit configured to acquire multiple sets of sensing data from at least one sensors configured to sense a condition of multiple movement elements in a performance that is performed because multiple parts of a body of a user move; a calculator configured to calculate collaboration information representing move collaborativeness of the movement elements from the acquired multiple sets of sensing data; and a notification unit configured to notify the user of feedback information based on the calculated collaboration information is provided.
Music practice feedback
A music practice feedback system, includes a processor; and a memory storing instructions that cause the processor to perform, forecasting an ability to retain playing skills of a sheet music by a user via machine learning and changing a display of the sheet music based on the forecasted ability.
Instructional method and system of an electronic keyboard, instructional electronic keyboard, and a storage medium
An instructional method of an electronic keyboard includes the following steps: obtaining a playing script, wherein the playing script is generated by a recording electronic keyboard; the recording electronic keyboard generates the playing script according to a pressed second key and the time of pressing the second key, and the playing script is used for indicating a corresponding relationship between a to-be-pressed key and the time of pressing the to-be-pressed key; controlling an indicator light on the first key of the instructional electronic keyboard to be turned on/off according to the playing script. In this implementation mode, a user can be prompted for the key by an indicator light on the electronic keyboard, which facilitates the user to learn the electronic keyboard.
Systems and methods for music and moving image interaction
The present disclosure relates to music instrument training systems, and more specifically to systems and methods of music playing tools with visual and sound features. In one example of the present disclosure, a music learning system of instructing a first player to play a music playing tool is disclosed. The system includes a first button, when pressed, would play a visual portion archive with the remote computing gadget under a learning mode at regular speed. The system further includes a second button, when pressed, would play the visual portion archive with the remote computing gadget under a practicing mode.
Interactive learning system and a method
An interactive learning system and method are provided. The method includes projecting at least one multimedia on a display screen interface upon selection of the at least one multimedia by a user, receiving one or more images representative of the at least one movement of corresponding one or more interactive tools captured by an image capturing unit in real time, enabling an interaction with at least one multimedia being displayed on the display screen interface upon having at least one movement of the one or more interactive tools on pad, identifying a pattern formed by the one or more received images representative of the at least one movement of the one or more interactive tools, analysing the pattern identified via an image processing technique, enabling an interaction of the one or more interactive tools with the at least one multimedia being displayed on the display screen interface in real time.
Musical notation, system, and methods
In one aspect, provided herein is a device for notating a musical composition. The device, in various implementations, is structured so as to be less laborious to notate, easier to read, and more simple to employ in notating, reading, and/or playing the music of a given composition to be composed and/or played. Accordingly, in its most basic form, the device herein disclosed includes a template, upon which template one or more symbols may be notated, where such notation is configured in a manner that more closely relates the note to be played with the mechanical action needed to be performed so as to play that note, such as on an instrument to be or being played.
