FAST-ROPE TRAINING APPARATUS
A training apparatus for fast-rope training includes a platform-supporting structure having one or more containers and at least one platform configured for use in fast-rope training. At least one attachment is provided for attaching a fast-rope. The platform-supporting structure is supportable by a surface. The at least one attachment is located higher than the platform and spaced laterally from the platform-supporting structure such that the at least one attachment overhangs the surface so a fast rope can hang from the at least one attachment, past the platform and toward the surface.
Augmented Cognition Methods And Apparatus For Contemporaneous Feedback In Psychomotor Learning
A method of creating a scalable dynamic jointed skeleton (DJS) model for enhancing psychomotor leaning using augmented cognition methods realized by an artificial intelligence (AI) engine or image processor. The method involves extracting a DJS model from either live motion images of video files of an athlete, teacher, or expert to create a scalable reference model for using in training, whereby the AI engine extracts physical attributes of the subject including arm length, length, torso length as well as capturing successive movements of a motor skill such as swinging a gold club including position, stance, club position, swing velocity and acceleration, twisting, and more.
Systems, methods, and computer program product for smart relay race training with relay baton exchange tracking
A system that includes an electronic baton device with motion and capacitive sensors. The system includes a processor and non-tangible computer readable media having stored programming instructions thereon that, when executed, cause the processor to receive sensor data from the motion and capacitive sensors, and determine an exchange zone to exchange the baton device between an incoming runner and an outgoing runner of a relay, based on the sensor data. The processor determines relay race metrics for each athlete of the relay team, baton metrics associated with each athlete, a usage efficiency in the exchange zone, and a baton transition metrics. The processor selectively displays on a display device the relay race metrics for each athlete, the determined baton metrics, the determined usage efficiency in the exchange zone, and the determined baton transition metrics in one or more selected graphical user interfaces.
Automatic Detection and Quantification of Swimming
A wearable device for tracking swim activities of a user is provided. The wearable device may include one or more sensors configured to generate sensor data, and based on the sensor data, the wearable device may determine swim metrics such as swim stroke count, swim stroke type, swim lap count, and swim speed. The determined swim metrics may be filtered based on one or more swim periods during which the user is likely to have been swimming. The wearable device may determine such swim periods based on the sensor data and/or the determined swim metrics.
Performance coaching apparatus and method
An apparatus for coaching improvements for a performer during a performance activity based on observed actual performance in comparison to a possible performance, with sensors measuring performance criteria. A microprocessor computer creates respective pseudo-measurements relevant to the performance activity based on the measurements, which are normalized and evaluated as to proximity to a possible performance value. A display presents the measured actual performance in relation to the possible performance, so the performer may change actions and observe on the display the effect of the change. A method of coaching performer during a performance activity is disclosed.
Reflective video display apparatus for interactive training and demonstration and methods of using same
A smart mirror can show live or recorded streaming video of an instructor performing a workout in a package that is attractive and unobtrusive enough to hang in a living room. The smart mirror includes a mirror surface with a fully reflecting section and a partially reflecting section. A display behind the partially reflecting section shows the video when the smart mirror is on and is almost invisible when the smart mirror is off. The smart mirror also has a speaker, a microphone, and a camera to enable a user to view the video content and interact with the instructor. The smart mirror may connect to the user's smart phone, a peripheral device (e.g., a Bluetooth speaker) to augment user experience, a biometric sensor to provide biometric data to assess user performance, and/or a network router to connect the smart mirror to a content provider, an instructor, and/or other users.
SPORTING SENSOR-BASED APPARATUS, SYSTEM, METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
According to one exemplary embodiment, an apparatus, system, method and/or computer program product may provide an athletic training performance analysis apparatus including at least one athletic training performance analysis device including at least one electronic sensor coupled to the at least one athletic training performance analysis device; at least one user interface coupled to the at least one athletic training performance analysis device configured to interact with a user to receive a user selection of at least one training performance analysis routine, the at least one user interface may include: at least one electronic computer processor coupled to the at least one electronic sensor; at least one input device coupled to the at least one electronic computer processor to receive the user selection; at least one output device coupled to the at least one electronic computer processor to provide output to the user; at least one electronic memory coupled to the at least one electronic computer processor; and at least one of: wherein the at least one electronic computer processor is configured to save or retrieve the at least one training performance analysis routine from the at least one memory; where the at least one electronic computer processor is configured to electronically monitor and electronically analyze the at least one training performance analysis routine based on the at least one electronic sensor; wherein the at least one electronic computer processor is configured to randomize at least one challenge by the at least one athletic training performance analysis device; or wherein the electronic computer processor is configured to at least one of: combine a plurality of previously saved of the at least one training performance analysis routine, or shuffle a plurality of previously saved of the at least one training performance analysis routine.
WEDGE GOLF CLUB FITTING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system and computer-implemented method for generating a fitting recommendation for a golf club. In an example, the method includes receiving, by a computing device, player input data; receiving, by the computing device from a launch monitor communicatively coupled to the computing device, first swing analytics for at least one golf shot of a first shot type; and based on the player input data and the first swing analytics, generating, by the computing device, the fitting recommendation comprising at least one of a bounce or a grind for the golf club.
Exercise assisting device and exercise assisting method
An exercise assisting device and exercise assisting method are provided. The device performs the following operations: transmitting a first control signal, the first control signal is related to a motion demonstration video corresponding to an exercise course data; receiving a video stream of a user; analyzing the video stream to generate a motion recognition result corresponding to the exercise course data of the user, and determining whether a motion target value is achieved according to the motion recognition result and the exercise course data; and when the motion target value is not achieved, the motion recognition result and the motion target value are input into an expert suggestion model to generate a follow-up motion suggestion and to determine a follow-up motion demonstration video corresponding to the follow-up motion suggestion.
