Cooking appliance with a cooking plate and with a heating device thereunder
A cooking appliance has a cooking plate for the direct preparation of food products thereon and has a heating device thereunder, wherein the heating device runs parallel to the cooking plate and bears at least partially against the bottom side of the cooking plate. The heating device has a flat carrier disc running parallel to the cooking plate, on the bottom side and top side of which carrier disc there are arranged in each case heating means which in each case substantially cover the carrier disc. Both heating means have in each case a multiplicity of heating conductors to cover the bottom side and top side of the carrier disc. The carrier disc may be composed of micanite, and the heating conductors may be thick-film heating conductors.
Continuous cooking surface with individually controllable heating zones
Examples are disclosed herein that relate to a grill with a continuous cooking surface having individually controllable heating zones separated by one or more isolation zones. One example provides a grill, comprising a grill plate defining a continuous cooking surface comprising a plurality of individually controllable heating zones separated by one or more isolation zones, each heating zone comprising one or more heating elements positioned beneath the grill plate, and each isolation zone comprising a cooling fluid channel, and a cooling fluid circulation system configured to control a flow of a cooling fluid through the cooling fluid channel for each isolation zone.
Carriage Apparatuses for a Grill and Methods for Using Carriage Apparatuses for a Grill
A carriage apparatus for a grill includes a frame having a first end opposite a second end. A pair of wheels are secured at the first end of the frame. A handle extends from the second end of the frame. The carriage apparatus includes at least one quick-release connector. The at least one quick-release connector includes a support structure secured to the frame. The at least one quick-release connector further includes a release device supported upon the support structure. The at least one quick-release connector further includes an elastic member that biases the release device against the support structure.
HEATING ASSEMBLY FOR COOKING APPLIANCE
A heating assembly for a cooking appliance, such as a toaster or oven, has a support and/or heating element with a curved shape having a concave side facing a cooking cavity. The support and/or heating element may be flexible, e.g., having a planar shape when unstressed and a curved shape when stressed. The support and/or heating element may define a sheet, e.g., having a length and width. The heating element may have openings in the sheet. The heating element may be coupled to the support so as to be slidable movable relative to the support, e.g., so the heating element can slide relative to the support when the support and heating element are bent into a curved shape.
Cooking apparatus
A cooking apparatus includes, but is not limited to, a bottom surface that lies at the bottom of a perimeter wall and having one or more stands operable to support a cooking plate, the perimeter wall having an angled edge; an electric heating element that can be interchangeably positioned on the one or more stands; a gas heating element that can be interchangeably positioned on the one or more stands; a cooking plate that is operable to seat on the base above the electric or gas heating element, is detachable from the base, and has an angled edge portion complimentary to that of the perimeter wall; a lid that is operable to rest over the cooking plate and extends beyond the perimeter edge of the cooking plate but completely covers the plate and allows for condensation to drip outside of the plate.
Articulable heated cooking surface with fluid management and safety interlocks
A cooking plate having a cooking surface, in one embodiment, two folding legs and a drip tray. The legs include a recess and the tray includes a sloped land. When the legs are folded into a storage position, the tray is prevented from sliding by the interlock between the land and recess. In a second embodiment, the legs including a tilting/lifting member which is pivotally moveable from a planar position on the leg member surface to a lifting position with a portion of the lifting member being longer than the height of the folding legs. The lifting member portion rests against the folding leg in an over-center splayed angle abutting the folding let to create a stable lifting leg.
GRILL OF TOP PROJECTING AND RADIATING TYPE
A grill of top projecting and radiating type includes a projection heater, a support connection beam, a base and a grilling pan arranged on the base, wherein the base includes a substrate housing; an upper face of the substrate housing is provided with an oil collection upper housing; a grilling pan rotating motor is arranged in the substrate housing; the center of an upper surface of the grilling pan is low and the periphery thereof is high; a rotary socket pipe is fixedly arranged at the bottom center of the grilling pan; an electric motor shaft of the grilling pan rotating motor passes through the oil collection upper housing from bottom to top, is inserted into the rotary socket pipe and is then connected to the grilling pan to realize the synchronized rotation of the motor shaft and the grilling pan.
OIL DISCHARGE ROAST PAN AND COOKING DEVICE HAVING SAME
A cooking device includes a heating unit and an oil discharge roast pan mounted to the heating unit. The oil discharge roast pan includes a pan body, a plurality of oil discharge holes extending through top and bottom surfaces of the pan body, and a plurality of protrusions protruding downwardly from the bottom surface.
Digital Power Supply
Provided is an apparatus and method for a digital power supply that can provide independent power control, and control variable power, for two or more electrical loads. Disclosed embodiments may reduce the magnitude of harmonic currents and/or flicker introduced into a power system. Embodiments include a microprocessor that delivers power to electric loads using phase-controlled AC current. The microprocessor may calculate a power array corresponding to a requested power for each electric load. Logic is provided for populating the power army in a pattern that reduces the magnitude of harmonic currents and flicker.
