System and method for recognizing objects placed together using sensors
The present invention discloses a system and method for recognizing objects placed together using capacitance sensors in conjunction with the RFID technology. A structure that is made with a material of high dielectric constant and a RFID tag that comprises a unique identification code (UID) of an object is embedded with the object. With the objects recognized, the spatial structure or the spatial distribution formed by them is derived and corresponding sensory feedbacks are provided by the system.
ABACUS CALCULATION TYPE MENTAL ARITHMETIC LEARNING SUPPORT DEVICE, ABACUS CALCULATION TYPE MENTAL ARITHMETIC LEARNING SUPPORT PROGRAM, AND ABACUS CALCULATION TYPE MENTAL ARITHMETIC LEARNING SUPPORT METHOD
There is provided an abacus calculation type mental arithmetic learning support device or the like which is also effective for strengthening a capacity for storing arrangement of beads in addition to a capacity for operating a bead of an abacus and is also suitable for measuring an abacus calculation type mental arithmetic capacity, and supports to learn abacus calculation type mental arithmetic by a calculation exercise for operating an abacus-like screen. With a structure in which an abacus-like operation screen is output to a touch panel of a computer and a state of a bead is changed based on an abacus calculation rule when the bead is selected by an operator so that the same calculation exercise as the abacus can be performed, the computer is operated to enable non-display of a change in the state of the bead in a calculation process and to display the state of the bead after the change in a stage in which a calculation ending operation is accepted. Moreover, it is preferable to perform non-display of a number to be an answer in each stage of the calculation process as well as a change in the arrangement of the beads.
AUTOMATIC SCORING METHOD, SERVER, AUTOMATIC SCORING SYSTEM AND RECORDING MEDIUM
An automatic scoring method by processor includes receiving information including an answer to a question, scoring the answer according to one or more evaluation items preset for the question, and visually distinguishing a result of the scoring in accordance with an evaluation item that has matched the answer.
Sequentially operated modules
Method, modules and a system formed by connecting the modules for controlling payloads are disclosed. An activation signal is propagated in the system from a module to the modules connected to it. Upon receiving an activation signal, the module (after a pre-set or random delay) activates a payload associated with it, and transmits the activation signal (after another pre-set or random delay) to one or more modules connected to it. The system is initiated by a master module including a user activated switch producing the activation signal. The activation signal can be propagated in the system in one direction from the master to the last module, or carried bi-directionally allowing two way propagation, using a module which revert the direction of the activation signal propagation direction. A module may be individually powered by an internal power source such as a battery, or connected to external power source such as AC power. The system may use remote powering wherein few or all of the modules are powered from the same power source connected to the system in a single point. The power may be carried over dedicated wires or concurrently with the conductors carrying the activation signal. The payload may be a visual or an audible signaling device, and can be integrated within a module or external to it. The payload may be powered by a module or using a dedicated power source, and can involve randomness associated with its activation such as the delay, payload control or payload activation.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF ORGANIZING A VIRTUAL CLASSROOM SETTING
A method and system for organizing a virtual classroom session. In an example implementation, a method includes, receiving first media data including a first user media stream depicting a first user and a first workspace media stream depicting a first physical activity scene that is proximate a first computing device of the first user and a second media data including a second user media stream depicting a second user and a second workspace media stream depicting a second physical activity scene that is proximate a second computing device of the second user, generating a graphical virtual meeting user interface and providing the graphical virtual meeting user interface for display.
Test Codes for Secure Test Mode on Math Assistance Devices
A method for test configuration on a first math assistance device is provided that includes receiving a test code by the first math assistance device, wherein the test code includes one or more functionality restrictions, and entering secure test mode on the first math assistance device with the one or more functionality restrictions.
GRADING SUPPORT DEVICE, GRADING SUPPORT SYSTEM, AND GRADING SUPPORT METHOD
To reduce the burden on the grader while minimizing variations in grading, a grading support device 30 comprises: an acquisition unit 31; an extraction unit 32; and a grading unit 33. The acquisition unit 31 acquires an answer file that includes information associated with the answer to a question. The extraction unit 32 extracts the answer from the answer file acquired. The grading unit 33 grades the extracted answer using learning results obtained through machine learning of the relationship between the answer and the grading results.
Question correction method, device, electronic equipment and storage medium for oral calculation questions
The present disclosure provides a question correction method and device for oral calculation questions. The feature vector of the question to be searched is obtained according to the content of token in the stem of each question to be searched, and then the feature vector of each question to be searched is used to search for the target test paper that matches the test paper to be searched in the question bank. For the question to be searched in the form of oral calculation question, a second search is performed in the target test paper based on the feature vector of the question, and the search criterion is the minimum shortest editing distance. If the question type of the matched target question is also an oral calculation question, it is determined that the question to be searched is the oral calculation question to be corrected, then a preset oral calculation engine is used to calculate the oral calculation question to be corrected and the calculation result is output as the answer to the oral calculation question to be corrected. By applying the solution provided by the present disclosure, the accuracy of correction on oral calculation questions can be improved.
Automatic Question Generation for Virtual Math Tutoring
A method, system, and apparatus for providing individualized math instruction or tutoring that analyzes and adapts to student progress utilizes a unique method of automatically generating mathematical test questions, in which the mathematical test questions are generated by inserting randomly generated numbers into mathematical expressions whose operators follow basic mathematical properties to compose a true statement or equation, and then masking one or more of the numbers and asking students to complete the unknowns to satisfy the statement or equation. Student progress is then analyzed based on responses to the test questions, and modified test questions are generated or retrieved from a database in order to address weaknesses or strengths in specific categories.
