EVALUATION APPARATUS AND EVALUATION METHOD
An evaluation apparatus includes a detected data acquisition unit that acquires photograph data of a bucket of a work equipment, a first display control unit that displays the photograph data on a display screen of a display device, a second display control unit that displays on the display screen a graphic representing at least part of an outline of the bucket as viewed from a side, and moves the graphic on the display screen by an operation of an input device, and an identification unit that distinguishes the bucket from excavated material above an opening end of the bucket on the display screen based on the graphic aligned with the bucket.
DRIVER READINESS AND INTEGRATED PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT
A driver assessment system includes at least one vehicle sensor on a vehicle gathering vehicle dynamics information. At least one occupant sensor gathers driver information. The at least one occupant sensor may be a wearable device or subdermal device on the driver. At least one computer receives the vehicle dynamics information and the driver information to determine a driver readiness.
Saliency based awareness modeling
In one or more embodiments, driver awareness may be calculated, inferred, or estimated utilizing a saliency model, a predictive model, or an operating environment model. An awareness model including one or more awareness scores for one or more objects may be constructed based on the saliency model or one or more saliency parameters associated therewith. A variety of sensors or components may detect one or more object attributes, saliency, operator attributes, operator behavior, operator responses, etc. and construct one or more models accordingly. Examples of object attributes associated with saliency or saliency parameters may include visual characteristics, visual stimuli, optical flow, velocity, movement, color, color differences, contrast, contrast differences, color saturation, brightness, edge strength, luminance, a quick transient (e.g., a flashing light, an abrupt onset of a change in intensity, brightness, etc.).
Information Presentation Apparatus and Method, and Computer Program Product
An information presentation apparatus includes: a status estimation unit that identifies one or more tasks from input information which has been input, and task information indicative of one or more tasks indicating a status; a load estimation unit that identifies one or more subtasks based on each of the identified tasks and subtask information indicative of one or more subtracts, each indicating a work element possibly executed by an operator, in the status of each task, and acquires a required load amount, which is a mental load on each of the one or more subtasks, based on the identified subtask and required subtask amount information indicative of the required load amount; a margin estimation unit that acquires a margin based on the acquired required load amount; and a presented information selection unit that selects information to be presented based on the margin.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR OPERATING AN AUTOMATED MOTOR VEHICLE
A method for operating an automated motor vehicle, having the steps: ascertaining of automated driving parameters during a manual controlling of the automated motor vehicle; and defined intervention by the automated motor vehicle in the manual controlling of the automated motor vehicle according to the ascertained automated driving parameters, the defined intervention being carried out corresponding to a degree of agreement of the automated driving parameters with the manual driving parameters inputted during the manual controlling of the automated motor vehicle.
Educational Learning System
An education and learning system that allows a user to memorize the rules of the road in a fun and engaging manner that allows repetitive testing while maintaining the excitement of learning. A person can practice by themselves or with a group of friends and multiply the fun. The system accommodates a variety of learning styles so that auditory, visual and tactile learners remain engaged during the learning process.
Tactile based performance enhancement system
A system is disclosed for communicating tactile messages to a user, such as a racecar driver, yacht crewmember, or other athlete. The system can include a tactile vest having tactile activators for conveying tactile messages to the user, including real time messages for helping the user assess and improve physical performance. The messages may be generated based on various types of sensor data, including, for example, data collected by vehicle sensors of a racecar or yacht.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING VEHICLE FUNCTION GUIDANCE AND VIRTUAL TEST-DRIVING EXPERIENCE BASED ON AUGMENTED REALITY CONTENT
A system for providing vehicle function guidance and test-driving experience based on augmented reality content according to an embodiment includes: an augmented reality terminal for executing a vehicle description application realizing a vehicle function guidance or test-driving experience providing service on the basis of augmented reality content; a window display device provided on at least two windows including the front side of a vehicle and displaying the augmented reality content; a vehicle speaker for outputting audio according to the augmented reality content; a virtual driving device for providing haptic including predetermined vibration or tilting in the vehicle; and a test-driving experience service providing server for controlling the window display device, the vehicle speaker or the virtual driving device in connection with the vehicle description application.
Simulator for crane, construction machine or industrial truck
A simulator for a crane, a construction machine or an industrial truck, with a control station including at least one input means for inputting control commands, a graphical simulation module for calculating a virtual representation of the machine surroundings and/or machine components, such as a boom or a load hook, and a display device for displaying the calculated virtual representation, a movement simulation module being provided for determining movements and/or deformations of the machine components according to the inputted control commands, according to which the graphical simulation module calculates the virtual representation. The control station is movably mounted and can be moved by a drive device according to the movements and/or deformation of the machine components determined by the movement simulation module. The virtual representation generated by the graphical simulation module can be superimposed with a live image provided by a camera and displayed on virtual reality glasses.
COMMUNICATION MINING ANALYTICS SYSTEM
Aspects of the present disclosure generally related to one or more systems, methods, and devices for actively monitoring driver communications in order to identify at-risk drivers (e.g., drivers that may be susceptible to quitting). Additionally or alternatively, aspects of the present disclosure may determine whether the fleet operators are satisfactorily communicating and remedying driver behaviors that may lead to an adverse driver event.
