Measurement tool for circumference

A measurement tool for circumference includes at least one disk with a circumference thereof provided with a through hole; a straightedge provided with a fixed post and a plurality of scales, and the fixed post penetrates through the through hole to fix the disk to the fixed post; and a hitching line with one end thereof penetrated by the fixed post, and the other end of the hitching line surrounds the disk or straightens along the straightedge. Thus, a string makes a circle around the circumference, whereby the string is marked an index corresponding to the fixed post, and then the string straightens along the straightedge, and a length of the circumference of the disk is obtained according to relative positions of the scales and the index.

Shape-matrix geometric instrument

Shape-matrix geometric instruments having numerous applications including, but not limited to, anti-counterfeiting, graphical passwording, games, and geometry education. A shape-matrix geometric instrument is a manufacture and/or a method whose design is based on a shape-matrix that, in turn comprises a set of building blocks that are N-dimensional polytopes. Corner shapes are positioned in or near the interior corner spaces of at least ones of the shape-matrix building blocks. At least ones of the corner shapes differ from others in at least one property or aspect including, for example, geometric shape, orientation within the building block, and one or more surface finishes, such as color, shading, cross-hatching or real or apparent texture.

Measurement tool for a circle area

A measurement tool for circle area includes a cylinder, a rectangular container and a pipe. The cylinder is provided with a first opening and filled with a liquid. The rectangular container is provided with a second opening, and at least side surface of the rectangular container is provided with at least scale table. The pipe is arranged on the cylinder and the rectangular container and connected with the first opening and the second opening. When the cylinder is tilted, the liquid flows to the rectangular container through the pipe, and a volume of the liquid in the rectangular container is figured out according to a length, a width and a height of the rectangular container and the scale table. The volume equals an inner-cylinder volume of the cylinder. An inner-circle area of the cylinder is obtained according to the inner-cylinder volume and a height of the cylinder.

Three-dimensional mixed-reality viewport

An application running on a computing platform that employs three-dimensional (3D) modeling is extended using a virtual viewport into which 3D holograms are rendered by a mixed-reality head mounted display (HMD) device. The HMD device user can position the viewport to be rendered next to a real world 2D monitor and use it as a natural extension of the 3D modeling application. For example, the user can interact with modeled objects in mixed-reality and move objects between the monitor and the viewport. The 3D modeling application and HMD device are configured to exchange scene data for modeled objects (such as geometry, lighting, rotation, scale) and user interface parameters (such as mouse and keyboard inputs). The HMD device implements head tracking to determine where the user is looking so that user inputs are appropriately directed to the monitor or viewport.
