A gasket is seated in a groove formed in the front chassis. A spacer is seated over the front chassis glazing member. Memorabilia is positioned within a cutout formed in the spacer. A rear chassis assembly has a rear chassis and a rear chassis glazing member. The rear chassis assembly is attached to the front chassis assembly with the gasket, spacer and memorabilia positioned therebetween. A bezel is configured to cover perimeters of the front and rear chassis assemblies, gasket, spacer and memorabilia. Front and rear layers of protective glass are secured to the front and rear chassis assemblies.

A holder for storing a collectible, such as a stack of banknotes, having a first housing assembled with a second housing and defining an enclosed space therein. A collectible receiving structure is disposed within the enclosed space and spaced from an outer perimeter wall. A locking structure disposed within the enclosed space, the locking structure having a first locking member formed with the first housing and a second locking member formed with the second housing and configured so that before the first housing is assembled with the second housing the first locking member is movable relative to the second locking member.

The plate has a top edge, a bottom edge, and a sidewall extending between the top edge and the bottom edge. The sidewall includes a tab that is received and locked in the slot, to oppose removal of the plate from the recess. A collectible can be positioned between the plate and the panel and received in a seat of the plate and/or the panel.

A protective case for a collectible includes a cover and a base. A card display and retention system for displaying graded card collections and memorabilia. The card display and retention system has a single-piece display body with a pocket defined. The pocket includes sidewalls, an adhesive within each pocket, and a card holder configured to be inserted into the pocket and be retained by only the pocket and the adhesive. The display body defines a plurality of pockets that are sized to retain a plurality of card holders that contain cards.
