DISPLAY TOOL
A display tool includes a display part, a back part, a stable part, a leg part, and a bottom part. The display part is disposed in its erected state. The back part has its upper edge connected to an upper edge of the display part and is disposed behind the display part such that a distance between the back part and the display part gradually increases from the upper edges to lower edges of the back part and the display part. The stable part protrudes downwardly along the back part from a portion of the lower edge of the back part. The leg part protrudes downward direction from the remaining portion of the lower edge of the back part at an angle less than an angle at which the back part slants. The bottom part is connected to a lower edge of the display part and to a lower edge of the leg part. The stable part is disposed such that its lower edge is in abutment with an upper surface of the bottom part.

CARD THAT STANDS PERPENDICULAR TO A HORIZONTAL SURFACE
The present invention is a card that stands perpendicular to a horizontal surface. The card is made up of a single piece of material on which graphic images and letters have been printed and which has been specially shaped and pre-creased to enable a recipient to fold the base part of it so that the display part will rise up perpendicular to or at a raked angle from the horizontal surface on which it is placed. The single piece of material has no removed portions within an external outer edge of the material, capable of forming open apertures; The business/greeting/advertising display card stands upright to a horizontal surface within a line of sight of a viewer. Optionally the straight bottom may have an arcuate surface, capable of making the novelty card oscillate when manually pushed in a rocking side to side motion.
Apparatus for displaying a card
Apparatus and methods for displaying a card via a decorative figurine, or similar device, equipped with one or more card retention mechanisms. In one embodiment, the retention mechanisms are arranged in a V shape to allow a card placed therein to be retained in a partially open state. In another embodiment, upper projections may be included to provide further stability to the retained card. In some embodiment, the apparatus is in the form of a quadruped, the retention mechanisms are integral to or coupled to the quadruped's legs, and the upper projections are in the form of the quadruped's arms. In another embodiment, a tent-style card is held between upper and lower retention mechanisms. In another embodiment, the card is permanently adhered to the figurine.
