Medium including release material and printing label and method of wrapping peeled-off label
A medium is configured to be mounted in and printed with a printer. The medium includes: a release material; and a printing label. The release material is provided with a cut-out area. The cut-out area is surrounded by a hole or a cut or a series of holes or a series of cuts and has at least a first side and a second side. The first side and the second side oppose each other. The printing label is affixed to the release material so as to extend across the first side and the second side of the cut-out area. The first side and the second side are configured to include different types of the holes or the cuts or the series of holes or the series of cuts from each other.
Adhesive label with water-based release coating
An adhesive label with a water-based release coating and methods for applying the water-based release coating to the adhesive label are provided. The water-based release coating is a non-silicon based formulation having a fluorochemical. The water-based release coating can be applied in a single-pass process or a double-pass process when manufacturing the adhesive label.
ADHESIVES FOR LINERLESS RECEIPTS AND LABELS
A labeling system for use with containers, including at least one linerless label, wherein the at least one linerless label is configured to receive printing thereon; a substrate for receiving the label and to which the label becomes permanently bound after the label has been attached to the substrate; at least one adhesive, wherein the adhesive is either substantially dry or tacky prior to being activated; moist or wet after being activated; or wet prior to application, and wherein the adhesive may be deposited on the label or on the substrate prior to attaching the label to the substrate; and where necessary, an activator for activating the adhesive and controlling the rate of drying thereof.
LABELLING PROFILE FOR MARKING ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING LABELLING STRIPS
The invention relates to a labeling profile for marking electrical installations, comprising a labeling region which has a cover surface to be labeled, and comprising a support region which connects to the labeling region facing away from the cover surface, wherein, when viewed in a cross-section transverse to the longitudinal extension, at least sections of the support region have a smaller width than the labeling region, wherein the labeling profile has a constant cross-section when viewed along its longitudinal extension and wherein the labeling profile has spaced-apart, optically detectable position markers on at least one surface facing away from the cover surface, wherein intermediate regions are formed between the position markers and wherein the position markers have in particular reflective properties which differ from the intermediate regions.
DIY BADGE TALKER
Provided is an at-home, do-it-yourself (DIY) printable label sheet comprising removable labels with a printable area and attachment portion on the same side of the individual labels. The attachment portion includes an adhesive for attachment of the label to the backside of an item, such as a badge, and a film that protects the adhesive prior to use. The film allows for an adhesive to be positioned on the front side of a printed label while preventing any potential damage to the printer due to exposed adhesive. The individual labels may also include a perforated tab. The label sheet may be inserted into a printer with a particular image printed thereon. The printed individual labels may be removed from the label sheet by using the perforated tab. The back of the individual label is free of adhesive. The perforated tab may be removed from the individual label along the perforation and the film may be removed from the adhesive on the individual label to apply the label to an item.
LINERLESS LABEL
This invention relates to a method for manufacturing a direct thermal linerless label web (100), the direct thermal linerless label web (100) comprising a face (110) having a first side (111) and a second side (112), the face comprising a direct thermal printable coating, wherein the method comprises supplying the face (110), and applying modified adhesive coating (121) on to a substrate (110, 611). The modified adhesive coating comprises water-based acrylic adhesive, and emulsified silicone additive. The method further comprises thermally drying the modified adhesive coating (121) on the substrate (110, 611) into a pressure sensitive adhesive coating (120). The substrate is the face (110) or a carrier material (611, 611a, 611b). This invention further relates to a direct thermal linerless label web (100), and a use of a direct thermal linerless label (100) in on-demand printing.
LASER ENGRAVABLE LABELS
Coextruded acrylic foils made from impact-modified polyalkyl (meth)acrylates and laser engravable labels containing these foils. The coextruded acrylic foils are designed for labelling by a laser and contain a contrast layer having at least one inorganic filler and an engraving layer arranged on the contrast layer and having at least one colourant.
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE LABEL
A pressure sensitive label and method for preparing same, the pressure sensitive label comprising: (a) a support portion, said support portion including at least a carrier layer; and (b) a transfer portion over said support portion for transfer of the transfer portion from the support portion to an article upon application of pressure to the transfer portion while the transfer portion is in contact with the article, said transfer portion including at least (1) a first printable layer in confronting relationship with the carrier layer, (2) an ink layer, and (3) a second printable layer, wherein the ink layer is disposed between the first printable layer and the second printable layer.
Adhesive tape cartridge, adhesive tape roll, and method of manufacturing an adhesive tape roll
The disclosure discloses an adhesive tape cartridge including an adhesive tape roll. The adhesive tape roll winds an adhesive tape around a predetermined axis in a housing. The adhesive tape includes a base layer, and a first particle-containing adhesive layer. The first particle-containing adhesive layer is disposed on first side of the base layer in a thickness direction and comprises an adhesive to which particles having an average particle diameter of 10 μm or more are added. On condition that the first particle-containing adhesive layer is virtually divided into two equal parts as a first region on the first side in the thickness direction and an second region on an second side in the thickness direction, a volume proportion of the particles to the adhesive in the second region is larger than a volume proportion of the particles to the adhesive in the first region.
