System and method for generating an integrated label for container housing multi-script pouches
A system for integrating and labeling a plurality of tablet orders is described. The system comprises a graphical user interface configured to receive one or more inputs for a plurality of tablets associated with a particular patient. A software module is configured to compile the inputs into an integrated order. The system further comprises an integrated label coupled to a package containing a dose comprised of the plurality of tablets input into the graphical user interface. The integrated label indicates information about the first dose and the second dose.
Direct thermal media and registration sensor system and method for use in a color thermal printer
An example disclosed media processing device includes an image processing unit; a first optical registration sensor; and a second optical registration sensor spaced apart from the first optical registration sensor along a first axis by a first distance associated with a gap between media units on a web.
Flexographically-Printable, Full-Color-Inkjet-Receptive Topcoat Formula and Article
A full-color-inkjet receptive topcoat can be flexographically printed on a substrate. The flexographically-printed, full-color-inkjet receptive topcoat includes a pigment and a polymeric binder, in which a ratio of the pigment to polymeric binder is in a range of from 3:1 to 5:1 by dry parts. Such a coating provides good printability with color inkjet printing, which conventionally has not been possible with flexographically-printed topcoats.
Removable label for dosage tracking
A reminder system in the form of a removable label. The label is configured to allow a consumer to monitor consumption of a medication and/or supplement. The label has a re-adherable adhesive backing and perforated tear off tabs. In one step, the consumer may tear off the tab for the dosage that is taken so that the next time the consumer views the bottle, the consumer is aware that the dose has been taken and what dose is to be taken next. The label is tailored to the predetermined prescription schedule.
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE LABEL
A pressure sensitive label and method for preparing same, the pressure sensitive label comprising: (a) a support portion, said support portion including at least a carrier layer; and (b) a transfer portion over said support portion for transfer of the transfer portion from the support portion to an article upon application of pressure to the transfer portion while the transfer portion is in contact with the article, said transfer portion including at least a patterned adhesive layer in confronting relationship with a surface of the carrier layer, wherein the patterned adhesive layer confronts less than substantially the entire surface of the carrier layer.
Web authentication holographic label and method for manufacturing same
The present invention relates to a web authentication hologram label and a method for manufacturing the same, and more particularly, to a web authentication hologram label and a method for manufacturing the same which in forming a web authentication label for identifying a genuine article, enable enhancement of a forgery (and falsification) preventing function as well as duplicate authentication for confirming whether or not an article is genuine to be substantially impossible by means of adopting one-time authentication.
GENERATING A DOSING AID LABEL FOR A SYRINGE
A system and method for generating a dosing aid label for a syringe are described. In a method, patient information and medicament information are received. The medicament information includes one or more of a description of the medicament, a recommended dosage of the medicament and concentration information relating to the medicament. A dosing aid associated with the patient information and medicament information is generated. The dosing aid includes dosing information which is usable in guiding administration of a dose of the medicament. A print instruction message is transmitted to a printing device. The instruction message is configured to instruct the printing device to print a dosing aid label including the dosing aid on the syringe or a sheet of material configured to be affixed to a syringe. The dosing aid label is usable in guiding administration of the dose of the medicament to the patient.
INKLESS PRINTING ON SUBSTRATES AND COMESTIBLES
A method of marking a package (72) includes providing a package (72) including an additive transformable from a first state to a second state in response to an external stimulus and presenting said package via a sales device (80). At least a portion of said additive is in said first state when said package is presented in said sales device (80). At least a portion of said additive is activated to form identifying indicia on said package within said sales device (80).
SCREEN STICKER AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME
The invention discloses a screen sticker comprising a backside coated release paper and a screen printed label, wherein the screen printed label comprises a removable glue layer, a filler layer, a mesh layer and a frosted glue layer. A method for making the screen sticker comprises the steps of: spreading and flattening the backside coated release paper on a work table; printing the desired pattern on the backside coated release paper; laying the mesh layer on the filler layer and then printing the filler layer on the removable glue layer with the pattern; printing the frosted glue layer on the mesh layer; and cutting the resulting screen sticker. The screen sticker of the invention can be repeatedly cleaned for use.
METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR MAGNETIZABLE PLASTICS
Provided herein are methods and compositions comprising a non-toxic ferromagnetic ink composition. Also provided herein are plastic objects containing a surface coating of a food-safe ferromagnetic ink composition. The coating imparts functionality to a plastic object such that the object is capable of being mechanically separated from waste stream using a commercial magnetic separator. The food-safe ink composition, which can be printed using high-speed flexographic, intaglio, offset printing or pad printing, combined with heat transfer printing or hot foil stamping consists of an ingestible magnetically susceptible pigment capable of rendering the printed template with magnetically active properties. The surface of the plastic object described can consist of geometric designs which increase printable surface area without significant changes in dimensions of the said object.
